The location has potential and the owner was genuinely responsive throughout our stay- quick to reply and willing to help troubleshoot. That responsiveness is worth something. That said, the property wasn't in a condition we'd expect for a family rental. Several safety concerns stood out: the foosball table was leaning at roughly 30 degrees and felt on the verge of collapsing; a bathroom shelf fell off the wall; knives were stored loosely in a cup that tipped when we accessed the coffee maker; and a sharp peninsula corner resulted in a head injury for our toddler. The patio has real potential but needs work; the furniture is rusted, the umbrella doesn't open fully, and a significant bug presence (possibly a nearby nest) made the outdoor space unusable for us. On the functional side, there's no pantry storage, which means dry goods end up either covering the island or crammed in the fridge. We left early and were refunded, which we appreciated. We also shared detailed feedback with the owner directly in hopes the property gets the attention it needs. If these issues are addressed, this could be a solid family rental. For now, families with young children should go in with eyes open.
