Öhningen, a dreamy community, lies at the end of the Höri peninsula in the immediate vicinity of the Swiss border. It is one of the most beautiful natural areas on Lake Constance and impresses with its numerous hours of sunshine. The Höri region is known for a very beautiful and varied landscape that has retained its rural character. Öhningen as the main town of the "Hinterer Höri" was a strategically, politically and ecclesiastically important core landscape during Roman times and during the Middle Ages. Due to the intact and species-rich nature, the municipality of Öhningen is entitled "state-recognized resort". Approximately 1,840 inhabitants make Öhningen the most populous place on the Höri. Public and private infrastructure facilities are available on site. The cities of Singen am Hohentwiel, Radolfzell am Bodensee and Schaffhausen (Switzerland) are each only 20 km away. The distance to Zurich Airport is approximately 60 KM and in 170 KM you can reach Stuttgart Airport. This country house lake villa with a wonderful view and direct lake access is in a very quiet location next to a nature reserve on a southern slope with lots of sun and ideal swimming and swimming opportunities. The largest waterfall in Europe and the beautiful old town of Stein am Rhein are only a few minutes away by car.
