Slip away for Sweet Seclusion at this beautiful North Georgia cabin tucked among the trees. After a busy day exploring downtown Blue Ridge, picking apples at Mercier Orchards, or riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, come back to your private home set on 5 private acres. Set at the end of a quiet road, Sweet Seclusion offers lots of privacy for a peaceful vacation.

The outdoor amenities at Sweet Seclusion will pull you in, with sprawling decks where you can relax, rocking chairs, a picnic table and grill for outdoor meals, and a nice yard where you can throw around a ball and play. At night, gather around the firepit to chat with friends. The interiors are equally welcoming, with a great living room with leather seating, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and an open floorplan.

Cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen before heading to the partially finished basement to play arcade games or hang out in the media space with a few armchairs, a big screen TV, and a heated electric fireplace! Bedrooms include a king master suite, an open loft bedroom with a queen bed and a futon, and another bedroom in the partially finished basement.

Please be aware the partially finished basement can be much colder than the rest of the home — especially during cooler months — including the third bedroom, half bathroom, and rec room.

Excellent place for R&R

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin far exceeded our expectations! It was a beautiful place to spend a week resting and relaxing. The cabin was spotless and so comfortable. We would definitely go back. The only suggestion we have is that some of the tree limbs and briars along the edges of the driveway leading to the cabin be trimmed back so they don't scrape vehicles.

Communication lacking

Enjoyed the property. Had several issues on check in. They fixed by afternoon. They never answered my message 8hrs later. Would have been nice if they would have responded. Then I would not had wasted 30 mins on phone with VRBO. Would it been that hard? Emailed at 8am then I emailed again they finally answered at 6p. Disappointing.

False advertising.

The basement is under construction and is not insulated. This was not mentioned to us before our stay. We were charged for 3 bedrooms even though the home only has one bedroom and a loft. The “third” bedroom in the basement is not use able as it is not insulated and there is no heater. With freezing temperatures outside our children could not sleep in the basement as planned but hat to crowd on the loft. I requested a partial refund and was only met with unsatisfying downplay and refusal. Very disappointing.

The cabin was very nice. It definitely gave us the peace and serenity that we were looking for. The town, near by and the people in the town were not the friendliest to us! They definitely did not speak back to us when we said hello. So we spent majority of our time in the cabin. We really enjoyed the cabin!

Nice Stay

The cabin was beautiful and very well equipped. The checkin was easy and the directions to the property was very well done. The beds were comfortable and the view was great. When we arrived the television and internet did not work but the next morning called the office and they did replace the television but did not have internet the entire stay which was a little disappointing. Overall the stay was nice.

Although the cabin itself was perfect for our 4-person family getaway, we found a few issues that negatively affected our stay. First, we really wanted a fire in the fireplace, but the ignition switch was faulty. Second, the trash containers hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests & we had no place to dispose of our trash. Third, and least important, the silverware & a few plates were dirty from the previous guests. Overall, the vacation was great but I think management could be a little more “present” at this property.

This place was amazing!!! Had a great view!!! I loved the bed in the loft and the view I had waking up. Got some of the best sleep I've had in a while. The place was pretty clean for the most part. There was some cookware and dishware that were pretty dirty and the floor seemed like it hadn't been mopped, but not something that would keep me from coming back. Overall, a very pleasant visit! Thank you!

Beautiful home and scenery, but uncomfortable

The beds were super hard and the furniture on its last leg. The recliner is about to break and lost all of its padding. The couch is the same, but not at breaking point. Furniture can make or break a stay, and this stay was not pleasant at all. We handled the afternoon lady bugs, no big deal, but furniture is major important to make stay enjoyable. No one should want to go home after first night. Vacation was ruined because of this, bodies now sore ..

The recliner was about to break and the cushion was nearly all gone. No matter how beautiful the scenery, furniture can make or break a vacation. No one should ever want to go home after the first night. Would not recommend this cabin. Having a sore body makes it difficult to enjoy a vacation. First time using Vbro and this happening. Was a bit disappointed.

First I never receive a email of the instructions on how to get the key so I was panicking the day we were heading there. Then I was notified we had to pick it up at the office which I couldn’t understand why a rental wouldn’t use key pad. I felt the lighting was way to dim overall. I couldn’t get the bedroom light to work after pulling the chain on the fan. The WiFi wasn’t very good connection and I needed Wifi to work good due to sprint not being so great. Lastly the hot tub only had one dim red light and only 2 jets seem to worked.wish it was paved road all the way to cabin. If these things could be adjusted it would be perfect. But We still had a good time during our stay.

We throughly enjoyed playing the video games in the basement. We are looking forward to returning next year. Our five year old son wanted to stay at the cabin forever. He really enjoyed himself. We loved the privacy and seclusion.
