Guest, I respect your right to share your experience,but I disagree with the accuracy of your review, which followed our discussion about additional charges after checkout. Reviews should reflect an honest & fair account of a stay. A disagreement over payment should not lead to misleading statements that can harm someone’s livelihood. Our smoking rule is outdoors only. My cleaners reported a strong indoor smoke odor & found smoking materials on & beneath the bed & on the dresser. You denied smoking indoors but acknowledged someone rolled a joint inside. I provided photos & professional smoke-removal invoice. Another invoice was for dog waste cleanup. You dispute responsibility for these charges. Our listing explains that this is a lakefront home, where occasional insects may appear despite regular professional pest control & thorough cleaning-we are guests in their environment. Cleaner also reported an allergic reaction after dog exposure, with breathing difficulties requiring hospital care. I had not known about the dog. She explained that advance notice would have allowed her to prepare or arrange another cleaner. We welcome service animals; voluntary notice helps us prepare for staff allergies & is a request for consideration, not a condition of welcome. This is also my home, & I personally check it before arrivals. I care deeply about providing a clean, comfortable stay & ask guests to follow house rules, clean up after their animals, & treat the property with care.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this cute lake house! It is very clean and cozy. Plenty of room and the master bed was very comfy. We especially enjoyed being right on the lake. Saw lots of baby gators and even caught some fish. Plenty of outside spaces to enjoy as well. Side note: My husband grew up in this neighborhood and used to mow the yard for the original owner of the property. We will definitely be back!Danni

This lakehouse was amazing. The host was very professional and made our stay extra special. I would highly recommend anyone visiting this area in FL to stay at this house. The fishing was awesome. Also, the staff at the bait shop was excellent!

Our family enjoyed the weekend together! Very nice house on the lake. Our host was attentive to our needs and requests. The house has plenty of private spaces and many places to enjoy a meal. The hot tub is a wonderful bonus! The property is close to restaurants, gas stations, and some shopping.

Fishing trip

We absolutely loved this house. Thinking about making it a yearly trip. The fishing in march is amazing! Everything about this property was perfect. Wish i was still there.

Slice of Paradise

Overall, our stay at the Lakehouse was everything we hoped it would be. Beautiful spot with lots of wildlife, yet close to everything. Host is terrific! She was always available and helpful. We hope to stay here again!

Great location, house was perfect with lots of room! The outside was great and we took our Tritoon boat and tied it up on the boat dock! Boat ramp close (Tracey point) 5 to put in, super easy!!!This will be a yearly family gathering for us!!We will definitely book again..owner super friendly and accommodating!

Wonderful getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. Everything was clean and well maintained. The best part was sitting outside in the morning, drinking coffee, and watching the sun come up over Lake Panasoffkee. We highly recommend this property for your vacation!

Family Fishing Trip

We had a great time here. Some of us used to fish here as kids, so we brought our parents back and had a great time! The house met all of needs and offered plenty of out door space to run around and fish from with a near by boat ramp. The kayaks and peddle boat was a huge bonus! Great stay!

The house was clean and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Fishing off the dock with minnows was a great experience with plenty of catching. Also a lot of good local restaurants

Relaxing Get away

It was a wonderful experience on the lake . The house was perfect large enough for all of us. And the fishing was wonderful. We caught more fish right out front on the dock then we did in the boat.

We had the greatest time at this property!!! We are very busy and we had the opportunity to enjoy an unbelievable relaxing weekend. Everything was perfect! And the property manager was very attentive and super nice!

Wonderful 4 bedroom with excellent views

Our purpose in booking this place was to have enough space for several families to get together for the purpose of delivering our Mom’s ashes to the National Cemetery in Bushnell to be reunited with our father. The house location was perfect bordering lake and canal frontage. The dock for fishing attracted several of our family, but also, the hot tub, pool table and varying outdoor and screened spaces. It truly was perfect for our needs.

Lake Panasoffkee

Great lakeside property with beautiful views from inside, especially the sunrises, and plenty of outdoor spaces for larger groups to fish, hot-tub, play games, or just relax. Good value for renovated older property with updated appliances and plenty of cookware and dishes. The indoor fireplace was not usable, but the fire pit more than makes up for it, especially at night with clear, dark and starry skies. As a bonus, we saw a large otter swimming to his home on the other side of the canal!
