***If you plan on using the BBQ Grill, you must obtain a permit from the Idyllwild Fire Dept. It's free and doesn't take long. Please check their hours/days.

We ask for an additional pet fee PER DOG for each stay. Each dog must be
approved and paid for before check in. If there is an unauthorized dog during the stay a fee of $100 will be applied, plus the original pet fee. There is no fenced yard and pets must be on leashes at ALL TIMES and not left unattended in the cabin.

For EV charging: There is no EV charger, but there is an outlet to plug into at the front of the house.
An unauthorized early check in or late check out will result in a $150 minimum fee. No events, gatherings, parties or weddings permitted unless approved by Owner.

Wonderful Weekend Stay!!

First, Kate was a gracious and accommodating host throughout the entire booking and stay. The home itself is really wonderful; we had 3 families with 6 adults and 5 kids, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the unique layout, as well as the loft beds in two of the rooms. Location was perfect, only about a 3 minute drive into town. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for multiple large dinners. Would highly recommend staying here!

Magical quick getaway from Palm Springs

A beautiful property and secluded getaway. Check in / out was smooth, cabin was exceptionally clean. It's an exciting, twisty drive to get up to the cabin, I don't know if I could do it in alone , but well worth it if you're looking to relax. We will definitely recommend to friends. Just beautiful overall. All the rooms have a theme, huge kitchen, fit pits, hot tub, swing, and my favorite is the Yoga Studio with 2 Poles.

Magical Stay at the Cabin

My partner and I had a beautiful stay at Kate's magical faerie cabin. You can feel the love poured into the space and also the love that has been left from all the different gatherings that have been had. The entire house is so communal and welcoming with little details throughout that make the space come alive. Although it was raining during out stay, the outdoor area was the magnet of the house. We kept finding ourselves using the outdoor shower and gravitating towards the hot tub and treehouse area of the backyard. Highly recommend this house as a getaway haven.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with the Faerie House the moment I arrived as the guest of a mystical artist friend staying there. It didn't matter that the house wasn't for sale, nor was I in a position financially or health wise to buy anything.

I was still deep in a journey of healing from breast cancer and a "life changing" relationship at the time. Upon entering, I unravelled into tears, and immediately felt at home for the first time in what felt like an eternity. I knew with all of my being that this sacred space would nurture my soul back to life via nature, art, and community.

Divine timing combined with unexpected support from friends and family, met with an unwavering will to follow my hearts destiny propelled this path forward. And with a lot of hard work, I gratefully became the custodian of this truly magical sanctuary of art, play, and spirit.

The Faerie House was designed architecturally and geographically to bring the outdoors within in a divinely attuned resonance that the heart can feel more than the mind can hold. Nature spirits and Faerie Magick abound this mystical cabin with custom wood and iron work, stained glass and surprises around each corner that invite the artists heart and curious spirit to presence.

Made for entertaining, yet cozy and nurturing for a romantic getaway... you'll find whatever your soul is calling forth here in this secret woodland nest.

This one of a kind mystical art cabin has been developed and cultured as a haven for artists, creatives, and progressive minds to gather and expand in consciousness and community for many years now. It is recognized as a "Chautaugua House", referring to the early 1900s movement to bring learning, culture, and entertainment throughout America.

There are three outdoor fire pits and 3 indoor fireplaces, the hot tub area, outdoor shower, and outdoor dining areas are lit by twinkle lights and high in the forest canopy. An entire living room suite is outdoors with a perfect view of a wood shaded sunset. Multilevel connected decks let you explore nature from above. Inside, there are elements of nature in ironwork and finely matted art and stained glass abounds. Truly a work of art in architecture, and surprising mischievous art to delight at every turn and in every nook. There is a whole house indoor/outdoor sound system ~ connect via Airplay or Bluetooth from your phone. Each shower and sunken tub is its own joy.
