Forget your worries in this immense and serene space. Centrally located in the heart of Idyllwild, this home provides the perfect getaway to relax, unwind, and explore everything this small mountain town has to offer, whether you want to walk into town or take a long hike deep in woods.
Enjoy the crisp, mountain air in one of the only places in SoCal within a 1-2 hour drive of San Diego, Los Angeles, OC, or Palm Desert that experiences all four seasons. Yes, it does snow and yes it's beautiful!
We know what's important to travelers... we've ventured all over the world ourselves.
This luxurious, spacious getaway, located in one of the most picturesque mountain towns, provides the perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, distance from points of interest, value, and 4 reserved parking spaces.
Location (all times listed represent driving distance unless otherwise noted):
- Walking distance from Idyllwild's main town square including grocery stores, restaurants, and unique shops in town
- 5 minutes from Nature Center
- 5 minutes from some of the best hiking trails Idyllwild has to offer
- 8 Tahquitz Peak via Devil's Slide Trail
- 15 minutes from Lake Fulmor
- 30 min from Hemet
- 45 min from Cabazon outlets
Only a short drive from most major Southern California cities and 5000ft up in the mountains nestled amongst the trees is the majestic town of Idyllwild. Known as a mecca for those who wish to enjoy all the beauty of the mountains and the forest, Idyllwild offers some of the most stunning parks and hiking in the United States. And when you're not availing yourself of these amazing nature preserves, you can enjoy all Idyllwild's idyllic downtown has to offer, whether you just want a delicious bite to eat, some natural organic wine, freshly roasted coffee, some locally brewed beer, or to enjoy some of the amazing local art of musicians, Idyllwild has it all.
We are close enough to the center of town that you could easily walk there, weather permitting.

GENERAL
Standard check-in time is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM.
Please ensure that the total number of guests you specify in your booking is accurate, including all infants and babies of all ages, and let us know if that changes. We will only accommodate those guests specified and no more above and beyond that number, especially due to municipal codes regarding occupancy. Maximum occupancy is 16.
NOISE & GATHERINGS
Due to the residential nature of our neighborhood and out of respect for our neighbors, we have a strict policy against social gatherings or any other loud/disruptive activities, especially after 9pm. This also means no visitors (anyone not already accounted for in the booking and already staying here) at anytime.
Our property manager lives nearby and he’s had to ask guests to leave in the past for throwing parties.
OCCUPANCY
Please note the maximum occupancy and number of bedrooms specified in this listing. The maximum number (16) of guests shall not exceed this number at all times.
SAFETY
There maybe cameras present on the property. Please see the listing for further details. Cameras must remain clear and not be tampered with or blocked in any way.
FURNISHINGS
Moving existing furniture out of the apartment or new furniture into it without consent of the host is strictly prohibited. Moving large furniture within the apartment from one room to another is also prohibited as our housekeeper may not be able to physically move it back once you depart.
PARKING
There are 3 total uncovered parking spots for this property but we may be able to arrange for additional spaces with advance notice.
TRASH & RECYCLING
Use blue bins for recycling, green bins for food waste, and black bins for everything else.
INFANTS & BABIES
The space is listed as child-friendly because we've gotten a lot of requests from families with infants who want to stay with us. We'd be happy to host those groups, but unfortunately, we do not have cribs or pack and plays or any bedding of that nature available for use, so please bear that in mind if it is a requirement for you.
PETS
Up to 2 total pets are welcome on the premises. Please notify us of how many pets, if any, you will have.
OTHER
We strive to ensure that all of our guests have the best experience staying with us but we understand that accidents may happen. If, during your stay, anything accidentally breaks (e.g., a wine glass, photo frame, vase, etc.), please let us know right away so we can be sure to properly deep clean it after your departure. This is primarily for the safety of the next guest who will arrive after you and we generally won't charge you any amount of the security deposit for small items or decor, so please don't hesitate to let us know. We really appreciate it!
CITY REGULATIONS
Guest is responsible for their entire party’s adherence to County noise limits pursuant to Code of Ordinances Chapter 9.52. Guest agrees to pay for any and all fines, penalties, or other costs associated with Guest’s violation of local ordinances. Upon a failure to vacate by the expiration of the occupancy term, the Guest and Guest visitors/invitees may be deemed trespassers and may be subject to removal by relevant authorities Pursuant to Chapter 5, Article 1, Division 10 of the Municipal Code, if the police are called to address public peace, health, safety, or general welfare issues, guests may be responsible for the cost of the police response. Guests are required to comply with Riverside Ordinance 847, 915, 924, 927.1, and 927.2
