Very cozy, beautiful view, quiet. It was just what I needed for a few days away. The cottage was very clean. Bed was super comfy. There is one window AC unit and several fans. I was there during some very hot days (the high was 97 one day), and the AC was very effective at keeping the place comfortable. It’s an easy drive to grocery stores, pharmacy, etc. in Martins Ferry or Wheeling for anything you might need.

Everything you need for a nice quiet get a way. Enjoyed the deck along the Ohio river. We saw barges, tug boats, ducks and geese. The bed was VERY comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. Make sure you stop at the Yorkville bakery for some sweet treats.

We enjoyed our weekend at the cottage! The deck out back is right in the water and very peaceful. Inside is set up with all you need and comfortable. Also recommend checking out Hightower brewing!
