Heat stopped working, and they got it fixed very promptly! Everything was clean, views were great, and beds were comfy. I’ll plan on staying again next time in visiting!

This house was amazing! My kids (aged 6 to 10) absolutely loved it. It was perfect for our family of five. We loved the location - right on the Ohio river! We all got excited when barges floated by! The town is quaint and small, but there was a nice playground about 5 minutes from the house and enough restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Super clean house, well stocked, and updated. We came here to be close to Oglebay and visit there - very easy drive over to WV. Hosts were great to communicate and work with.

The house had everything we needed and was so comfortable. The veiw of the river, landscape, wild life was priceless. During our morning coffee a large buck deer walked right down the street it was great. Nice little town had all the convenience stores we needed. The house was adorable.

Overall we loved our stay here. One little hiccup was we didn't receive check in details by the time we arrived, however when I called the host he was able to get me the information I needed within minutes so it wasn't a big inconvenience.The house was extremely clean, the kitchen was big and had everything we needed except I couldn't find a cutting board but no biggie. The laundry facilities came in super handy. The back deck was a very nice for relaxing and overlooking the river. I highly recommend this place!

Cute place in a convenient location

This is a cute little place with plenty of space. Much more comfortable than a hotel room. Only takes about 15 minutes to drive to Martins Ferry and Wheeling. My son enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching the barges on the river. Loved having a good k-cup coffee maker available. I also greatly appreciated the washer and dryer that allowed me to wash up our laundry the night before we left so that I didn't have a bunch of laundry to do when we got home. We also enjoyed relaxing in the living room at night and watching a movie.I highly recommend this lovely little place over a hotel room. Only word of warning is that the bedrooms are upstairs, while the bathroom is downstairs. So if you get up a lot during the night that is something to consider. If that's not an issue for anyone in our party, then this is a great place to stay. We will definitely stay their again next time we're down visiting family.

The kitchen was very nice and equipped with all the essentials and the house was very nice and accommodating/cozy... The town doesn't have much for shopping but there are plenty of things to do within a short distance drive away
