Our Property hosts a Dock w/ power, No fixed Bridges nice ride through the New River to Intercoastal out to Port Eveglades inlet. approx. ride time 30 mins. to the the Deep Ocean Blue. Paddle Boarding, Kayakeing Boat rentals are available in the area.
There are many great area attractions short distances away. Many restaurants in a 5 mile radius. Close proximity to downtown and the beautiful Los Olas Blvd. many great areas to explore South Beach, Miami Beach, of course Ft Lauderdale Beach our wonderful coast, the Everglades , the Fl Keys oh my the list just goes on and on.
We want our home to be your home away from home.
Your Comfort kept in mind as well as your budget. We value that your on vacation but respect the residents in our neighborhood and ask all guests to be courteous and respectful with noise.
This home is in a Laidback Neighborhood. Our home is a relaxing home for your stay.
We are centrally located to most night life, shopping, dining & sightseeing, but just far enough away to not feel the stress of it all.
Great areas outside to have a coffee or a cold beverage and relax by the pool, looking out over the canal. You may see jumping fish in the canal behind the home or even a manatee, iguanas Rome free but are much more scared of you but yet curious enough for you to get a good look! For those bringing boats to the dock enjoy our waterways and please by all means enjoy the wonderful intercostal, canals and New River explore, relax!!!!
Our kitchen has modern appliances. Is equiped for cooking. A counter for 2 to eat at or a table in the Florida room for 4. You can eat out on the wood deck patio table for 4.
1 queen bed in each bedroom. A Pack and play for connivence of families with small ones.
Regular scheduled pool, lawn and pest control.
Interconnected hard wired smoke/ CO2 alarm. Fresh water pool, Cold A/C Bring yourself for a relaxing worry free time. Backyard has a wood fence on 3 sides for privacy. Pool is exclusive to this home and is not heated. Pool and dock safety equipment not for play but definitely safety .
Pets welcome as long as they are included in rental agreement with owners approval. You must clean up after pet each time and dispose of in a plastic bag in the garbage can labeled trash.
We have compiled an attractions/dinning book for our guests with some local favorites and Fishing Charters available out of many local Marinas.
City of Fort Lauderdale noise, occupancy,garbage and vehicle ordinances are to be kept in strict compliance while staying at this home.

There are many golf courses in a 10 mile range of the home, fishing from the dock or bring your own boat power is not guaranteed. Enjoy the Venice of America. An easy go between the keys and Disney. Keys are about an hour away and Disney/Universal/Sea World about 3 1/2 hours north beaches beaches beaches, shopping , dinning, nightlife, diving, snorkeling, relaxation or fun.

All guests who wish to extend must contact immediately as for there may be availability and there may not we will try to accommodate but Will not cancel another guests reservation to accommodate any extension.

All guests are required to provide valid Drivers license, emails, phone numbers, home address and a current utility bill with account # marked out.

Weekend Getaway

Very nice property, very clean, was able to book this on short notice, Penny is wonderful, easy check in and out. While the house is on the smaller side, it was perfect for us 3 adults. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. Outside pool area was clean and welcoming. I would recommend and I would stay again.

South Florida Vacation Home

The home is located a short drive from Hollywood International Airport and offers easy access to 95 north and south. The resturants and stores of Las Olas along with Publix are also nearby. The home is exactly as pictured, comfortable and cozy. The recent renovations are very nice. Penny was an absolute joy to work with making arraingements prior to our visit-she could not have been more understanding and helpful.

This house was perfect for our family vacation . It's just a very short drive to many beaches . The pool is so clean and private . The neighborhood is quite. The house is clean and very well kept . The house is stocked with everything you need from dishes , blankets , sheets and towels . We will defiantly be back !! The owners take pride in this vacation home.

Our Home is nuzzled in an older neighborhood that is welcoming our neighbors always like to meet our guests and treat them like family and friends. Wether your coming for a couple days or and extended stay we welcome one and all trying to treat each guest with respect, and value there privacy and comfort.

No privacy!

One would think that for the money they charge to rent this place that perhaps they might want to put some of it into updating it. The hot well not really hot warm water tap in the small bathroom leaked whenever the tap was turned on and it’s so dark in that shower stall no overhead lighting. In the other bathroom it’s quite small a larger person would half to almost stand sideways to shower so as not to bang your elbows on the wall while washing your hair, the bathtub plug doesn’t plug in properly so you can’t give the kids a bath. The oven door handle keeps coming off when trying to open it and because it’s in such a small confined space you had to be very careful it didn’t come off while taking something out of the oven. Plastic covers on the mattress which makes you sweat. Dirty blinds and windows very dated. There’s always someone showing up without informing you. Someone who’s supposed to keep a check on the house, yard maintenance that just show up whenever and walk right into the backyard without so much as a knock or a hello then pool maintenance guys that also just walk right in. Not to mention the guy in the house across the canal that came over banging the door down ranting about wanting to know who was taking pictures in the backyard so he was watching the house from the backyard. Not that we were doing anything wrong just taking pictures but he was obviously watching us Then they sent a guy over supposedly to check if there was any beach chairs and umbrella etc. for the next guests yet we were still staying there for 22 more days. So we wrote an email to the owner requesting the use of this beach equipment and her reply was well I’m out of town and well you know how this stuff goes missing as if to accuse us of stealing their stuff when there wasn’t any. She could have asked the people that she kept sending around to spy on us if they could have picked up beach equipment for the property and maybe let us use it and pay this guy for it when she got back from her so called out of town. Since like I said we still had 22 more days there and yet she never checked to see if we needed anything and then refused even after sending an email. So obviously see was just sending him around with another lame excuse to check up on us. The dock at the canal has a bunch of very uneven boards and sloped downward towards the water also with a bunch of nails protruding out of them about a half inch or so very dangerous. Very poor business relation.

Well I hate that you feel this way considering your husband asked my Maintence man about staying another month After your cruise. And he told my husband what a nice place it was. I am Not trying to make excuses for anything I just wish you would have communicated to me about these issues during your 5 week stay. As for the neighbor he was alarmed to something he thought was happening that was possible problems he had no knowledge that you were renters hence they don’t spy, He was being a good neighbor and watching out. I will say this no one will ever spy on you or intentionally disturb your privacy at our home The Lawn, pool and pest control is on schedule here nothing that could go for weeks on end without being done here in South Florida It is a must. The providers were not there to spy on you or bother you just do there job as expeditiously as possible and leave. Oven door handle is in tact as it should be, faucets we found no leak. It will definitely keep an eye on thank you for the alert even if it was in a review I appreciate it.Blinds we found 2 broken and normal dust after a 5 week stay and have replaced and cleaned them again. As for Beach equipment I do not supply it due to liability reasons, we are not on the beach we have pool lounge chairs and such hence having a pool. The Dock is suppose to have a slight slope for water run off, nails and or screws work there way out everyday we work diligently to stay on top of this and not be at the property everyday while it is occupied so in 5 weeks there will be a nail head or screw that might come up it is inherent to the water and our area we will also keep a closer eye on that thank you. In the entire 5 week stay I spoke with your 1 time by phone husband he was ecstatic about the home and wished he could stay longer and was awaiting your arrival, and 1 time about about beach chairs which I answered. I would never ever accuse anyone of stealing we do not do that. I said I was not replacing them and that other guests leave things I just stated sometimes things are gone wether they are taken left at the beach or whatever things just happen. No need to get upset about them. Communication is the key to any great rental stay when you have even the slightest issue always always call and inform someone of your discomfort. Beds have bed bug & mattress protectors on strictly for guest safety. The bathrooms are standard size bathrooms, Kitchen is a galley kitchens as shown in the photos, Second bath off laundry is a standard single shower this house is in no way in need of updating and modernizing as for it has been. I was out of town not abnormal for Vacation Rental owners to have staff that take care of things. We wish you all the best and sincerely hope that your future stays wherever they may be are absolutely amazing.

Ft Lauderdale fun

The property was very clean and convenient to stores and restaurants and all the beaches the ride out in the boat was a bit longer than I was told but hey a boat ride is better than a snowmobile ride any day penny was fantastic and was very helpful with any questions I had other reviews complaints of noise from 95 but never had any problem with it very enjoyable stay

If you're looking to relax, look no further!

The house was exactly as stated, but looks even nicer in person. It was spotless and was fully equipped with everything you need. We were looking to relax and really enjoyed the pool/yard. We spent time in the pool, had breakfast under the covered back patio, enjoyed time on the dock having a beverage, while taking in the pretty scenery. The yard is pretty secluded and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. The location was very convenient with stores and restaurants a short 10 minute ride away. If you're looking for a nice place to relax that's nicely situated, you won't be disappointed! Plus, the owner Penny was great to work with. We're already looking forward to a return trip!

Small Home, Noisy Location, Added Expenses.

Absolute torture trying to book this property with some 20 pages of forms to be returned by post or scanned not easy when travelling. Not mentioned was having to pay a very substantial refundable deposit or pay a smaller but not insignificant insurance fee for the week. Wrong entry code given by VRBO though owner unaware. The neighbour given as contact had moved away so we had to knock on doors to find help. Eventually a guy rang a friend of the owners for the code- not a great start. Hadn’t know location until just before arriving and found this property almost immediately below the i95 passover offering absolutely NO peace and quiet 24/7 whilst covering the car and swimming pool in black smuts, the pounding noise ever present. Though a very quiet neighbourhood this is a very noisy location. We’d booked because the listing offered 2 bedrooms each with 2 queen beds, in truth only one queen bed in each. As there were 3 of us with different sleeping needs it meant that one had to sleep on the very uncomfortable futon in the sun room. No mattress provided for this which has a hard ridge down the middle, OK for small kids maybe but not an adult- the owners should should try a night themselves. How they can sleep 8 we’ve no idea! Next we had no hot water, a plumber arrived late in the evening who made necessary adjustments. Found we only had sufficient water with temperature on full. The property is small but ok was reasonably clean with plenty of linen for the beds though all pillows soiled with no protectors- we took photos should this be denied. Plenty of towels which we washed and left as we found. We also left the fridge cleaner than found. Well equipped for cooking and eating outside, we enjoyed a BBQ and the outside area has seating and sun loungers. Enjoyed the pool though unheated, also fishing in the canal but caught nothing. We made the most of our stay and didnt let the earlier confusions spoil our time there. Not much in the neighbourhood but not too far to shops, car essential.

Communication communication communication I can not stress this enough. As stated in listing nothing hidden about having to sign an actual rental agreement, dock and pool waivers other travelers have not had a problem doing this with less time. You had the address of the property on the first day of getting email with documents not sure where you were that you had such a hard time with your email or doing the docs. I have contacted web site and corrected all issues of giving a code that was incorrect, Hot water was as simple as turning up it had gotten changed by cleaning staff getting home clean by touching it was corrected as soon as you informed not days later. I was not aware until your review about pillows they had zip on protectors on them. I will change pillows and place new protectors on them. The listing stated clearly that the house was suitable for 4 adults and 4 children. That there were queen beds in 2 bedrooms. I am sorry you felt that you had a terrible time and that it was extremely noisy as you can tell from our reviews that is not what others say. This home is on the water and yes sound travels. As for the deposit it’s no different than other homes in S. Florida it’s designed for you to use the PDP that actually protects you and your guests with greater coverage than any deposit. The Futon is being replaced I agree it’s uncomfortable looks like it was jumped on by a larger bodied person but not sure, again my apologies for your discomfort. We did have several communications and you did not say anything except about information you felt was incorrect which was addressed with the web site immediately. We have been doing this for more than 10 years and value each and every guest and there comfort. We appreciate your critical evaluation of our home and will address all issues you felt were significant enough to leave such a review and not communicate them properly to us except thru the web site which you felt was a poor web site. I can not change VRBO’s way of doing things but I can correct issues with my home. We sincerely hope your next stay somewhere meets your expectations and your comfort levels. We appreciate your staying in our home and hope that your travels on your sailing vessel are safe and your continued health is good.

Fabulous in Fort Lauderdale

This property has a lot going for It:pool, inter coastal view and adorable decor! I would like to rebut the previous review as our neighbors were lovely,the owner responded to every small concern immediately and BTW we were the folks that asked her to check on the beach gear in the garage. The space is very well used with a well configured kitchen, large living area, adorable sun room, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Convenient to lots of good restaurants on Las Olas and off 17th st. Thanks to Penny for a wonderful 5 weeks!

Charming canal getaway minutes from I-95 and downtown Ft. Lauderdale

Well maintained clean property. Owners were easy to deal with. Very quiet neighborhood. Backyard was a paradise with pool and near constant trade wind breezes.

Great house for our visit, Penny is a super host!

We stayed at this home for a week (my husband, myself, and our three youngest children) to celebrate our twins 10th birthday. We wanted something in this location to be close to our oldest daughter who lives locally. It worked out very well. The house was very clean and the size was perfect. The pool was perfect for our family, it was very clean and we enjoyed it every day! We loved being on the canal, we enjoyed seeing the iguanas and even a manatee. We were close to the beach, shopping and other activities. Penny was a wonderful host, very responsive to all questions and needs and was very friendly. Would recommend this home!

Schönes Ferienhaus mit Pool

Wir haben zwei sehr angenehme Wochen hier verbracht. Das Haus liegt günstig nicht weit weg vom Flughafen an einem der vielen Kanäle. Platz für den Mietwagen ist in der Garage. Der Pool ist schön und sauber. Gartenmöbel sind ausreichend vorhanden. Man kann so herrlich relaxen. Es gibt einen Bootsanlegesteg. Die Ausstattung ist wie in der Beschreibung vorhanden: Klima, komplette Küche, Handtücher, Grill etc.. WLAN/Internet funktioniert hervorragend. Also alles in allem empfehlenswert.

We spent two very pleasant weeks here. The house is conveniently located not far from the airport on one of the many canals. Space for the rental car is in the garage. The pool is nice and clean. Garden furniture is sufficiently available. You can relax so wonderful. There is a boat jetty. The equipment is as in the description available: air conditioning, full kitchen, towels, barbecue, etc. WLAN / Internet works great. So all in all, recommended I translated to English for other Travelers As for our international travelers are amazing and we look forward to having them again. Having a garage and being centrally located is key to being in the mix and away from it all. Family time at its best and private space for romance as well.

Just wonderful!

The accommodations were very up to date. The pool was maintained perfectly. The outdoor patio was very pleasant with accommodations for eating outside. The kitchen was convenient, the décor and linens were attractive. We were very comfortable finding our every housing need met.

We try to keep this home somewhat simple but comfortable and yet stay with the times. Pool cleanliness is an absolute must our pool people are just as adamant about as we are. Outside dinning in South Florida is a given on the water and enough seating outside to host a small gathering of frequents and family makes patio and deck feel more at home at least we think so. We try to have a decor to match the area somewhat, Beachy, South Florida style, hoping to make it somewhere you can come in-from the beach, shopping, golfing, fishing,or a day on the water and relax. Eat in or go out a kitchen with enough to cook and enjoy or just snack and go out all preferences for our awesome guests we thank each and every guest so very much for choosing our home and hope for returning guests.

Nice neat and smell fresh and very clean

Our Family really enjoyed our stay. Penny was very nice . Kids enjoyed the pool . Back yard was super nice . We would definitely be coming back again . Great stay!

it seems kids and families have such a good time in the pool and backyard. They seem oblivious to most other things and seem to settle into Vacation very well with a pool and yard to play in, with a fence that keeps them safe from the street. But not water side there is no fence or obstruction across the dock so while in while in the pool you can watch boats go by in the canal or just enjoy being on the water. Just a short ride to multiple beaches and attractions. We appreciate our guests and their feedback but most of all we appreciate guests choosing our home to stay in and look forward to trying to improve and make our home a better home to continue staying in.

This place was amazing

First of all, Penny the owner is a absolute sweetheart. I booked this house for my family who came down to stay for a week, the house was perfect. This house was clean, centrally located, and right on the water, it was perfect. Penny, made sure every thing was just right, she went way above what I expected to make sure my family's had everything they needed. I would absolutely stay here again, i will defently tell everyone I know how great this experience was. If you want a place to stay in Fort Lauderdale you can't do better than this house.

We enjoyed our stay. Would do it again.

We really enjoyed our stay. We would have stayed a couple of months longer, but someone had already rented it. Take advantage of the canal outback and rent some kayaks. The nabors were great. The owners make it fantastic as well. They were there right away with a simple request for a light bulb. Yes, the description of the property was accurate. The location was convenient. Great customer service from the owners. I would rent again.

Clean welcoming home

I have stayed many home away houses but this one is the best yet so clean so welcoming. There was a swimming pool to cool us off at the end of the day. It was the perfect location close to everything. The airport was miles away. Everything was new. I'll stay here again!!!

Great space with everything we needed.

The house was clean and well cared for and the rental experience was well organized and hassle free from start to finish. Pool was a refreshing break from the wonderful heat and humidity and the blender was put to good use during our stay. The property is close to the airport and to the interstate so we enjoyed the lovely patio to the hum of traffic but it was nothing that our tiny bluetooth speaker playing our favorite playlist couldn't handle. Thank you Penny and Dan.

Clean and well kept place

Had a great stay here. The house is kept very clean and in great condition. Enjoyed the pool and outdoor area plus having a drive in garage. Can recommend to anyone wanting to be close to town but away from the hustle. The owners are helpful and quick to attend to any issues. Thanks Penny!

Fantastic rental in the middle of everything

Beautiful home on quiet street yet in the middle of everything in Ft. Lauderdale...it was the perfect romantic getaway...would definitely book the same property on my next trip to the area....the property owner was fantastic and very accomodating...
