The listed captain's house was built around 1850 in the traditional Darss style. Later the foreman of the Prerower sea rescue, Wilhelm Brumshagen, lived here.
Over 100 years ago, the house known as "Villa Möwe" accommodated summer guests.
In 2008 the property was lovingly renovated by the Ruff couple. They attached great importance to maintaining the old maritime flair, while at the same time being equipped with all modern comforts.
