Perfect location in the heart of Provence with a large pool and beautiful garden
The "Mas du Jasmin" is a tastefully renovated and modernized large former farmhouse with a converted coach house from 1908. The entrance is through the kitchen, which is modern and fully equipped, with an American fridge, icemaker, large induction hob, dishwasher and oven. There is a large counter with 8 bar stools and a cozy antique bench. Behind the kitchen is a separate storage and utility room. On the right is the very spacious and cozy salon of the two-story house, with an open fireplace and a separate guest or Workspace. Our house has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, two of them en suite and is fully equipped for up to 11 guests. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet. In the lower part of the house, the former coach house, there is another fantastic room of over 100 square meters with large patio doors to the garden and a gallery that can be used as another living space. There is also a large dining table for up to 10 people. On the first floor in this part of the building there is the air-conditioned master bedroom and a guest room, both with bathrooms en suite. The bedrooms are accessible via a second, separate staircase. Another bathroom with shower is on the ground floor of this building. The two parts of the building are connected by a corridor on the first floor and therefore each have their own staircase. We bought the Mas du jasmin last year and completely refurbished it. Photos of the bedrooms and bathrooms will follow shortly! On the approximately 1300 square meter property there are two beautiful old plane trees that provide soothing shade at lunchtime. In the Mediterranean garden, a 5 m x 10 m pool with loungers and outdoor shower ensures a wellness atmosphere. The house and garden cannot be seen from the street and are shielded by an electrically operated gate. There is ample parking for four cars on the property. The location is perfect in the midst of Provençal sights such as B. the charming mountain villages of Les Baux, Eygalières, Gordes and Roussillon, the famous lavender fields, the chic Provence "capital" Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, the rugged cliffs of the Dentelles, the untouched mountain landscape of the Alpilles, the 1900 m high summit of the Mont Ventoux, the beautiful city of Avignon with the Papal Palace and many shopping opportunities or the southern flair and the legacy of the Romans in Aix en Provence, Arles or Orange. The cultural capital of Marseille and the famous beech trees of the Calanques are only 45 minutes away by car, as is the famous Camargue landscape with its beaches, wild horses and flamingos. Last but not least: in 2 h 39 min you are in Paris by TGV from Avignon, just a few km away!

The house is large en nice, the pool is superb. We mostly enjoyed the garden incl the pool, the kitchen and the BBQ area. Communication and reception with/of the housekeeper was good. We missed the information about for instance garbage, check-out rules, lightning, sunscreen handling and so on . Also, some maintenance on house and terrace needs to be done, the dried out and loose wooden floor near the pool can cause splinters. The owners are friendly and polite and I am sure they will pick up our observations. Cabannes is a small village where you can buy delicious croissants and fresh baguettes. The area is nice and you are at good distance of all worthy locations in the Provence
Expérience très décevante dans cette location!
Après 800km de route et l'envie de se poser de profiter entre amis, quelle ne fut pas notre surprise! :notre arrivée n'a pas été anticipée du tout.
Nous n'étions clairement pas attendus et rien n'avait été préparé pour nous accueillir dans des conditions normales de location.
PISCINE TOUJOURS EN HIVERNAGE!
Une notice nous attendait pour nous notifier les étapes de remise en service de la piscine !
L'eau était trouble et le fond recouvert de résidus de feuilles!
Ce travail est à réaliser par une personne qualifiée avant l'arrivée des locataires.
La piscine n'était donc pas utilisable lors de notre arrivée, alors que n'avions qu'une hâte c'était de nous rafraichir après les longues heures de route.
JARDIN NON ENTRETENU ET NON PREPARE!
- Pelouse non tondue, des tas d'écorces partout dans le jardin et aux abords de la piscine. De quoi la salir encore plus avec un coup de vent.
- Des chemins et des terrasses en bois très dangereux avec des lattes qui se soulèvent ou totalement voilées et en prime, des vis rouillées qui ressortent de partout !
De quoi se blesser à chaque pas: absolument pas sécure pour les enfants.
- Le mobilier de jardin décoloré et rouillé
MENAGE NON FAIT!
Robinets sales: traces d'eau et calcaire dans les SDB. Lave vaisselle sale et non vidé
Poussière, traces sur les meubles de cuisine, mouches mortes sur le sol, feuilles mortes entre fenêtres et volets, etc...

Les problèmes suivants sont survenus lors de la location à Corole :
1. Surpeuplement: Notre Mas du Jasmin a été loué à 8 personnes en juillet 2023, selon les informations fournies lors de la réservation. Le soir du premier jour, la locataire, Carole, s'est plainte qu'en plus des 10 lits déjà mis à disposition (pour 8 personnes), il restait un canapé sans draps. Cela signifie qu'au moins 11 personnes ont utilisé la maison. Elle est proposée pour 8 personnes.
2. Mauvaise Communication: Une semaine avant le séjour, nous avons envoyé à la locataire un descriptif de la maison, expliquant tous les détails concernant la maison, la piscine et la récupération des clés. A son arrivée, la locataire s'est affirmée et a immédiatement demandé le service de la piscine, ce qui n'aurait pas été nécessaire si elle avait lu le descriptif. La Piscine n’état pas en hivernage.
3. Mauvaise gestion du bien locatif : Les locataires ont retiré de manière non professionnelle la couverture de sécurité de la piscine sans tenir compte de la procédure communiquée et ne l'ont pas réinstallée.
4. Impolitesse : Le jour de l'arrivée, nous avons reçu 12 (!) textos de Carole sur la propreté et d'autres problèmes, tous antipathiques et sans mot d'adresse. Concernant la propreté, nous ne pouvons que dire que nous sommes satisfaits à 100% de notre personnel de nettoyage, ce qui est confirmé par notre présence fréquente.
Conclusion : Nous ne louerions plus notre Mas de Jasmin à Carole.
La maison, bien située à l’entrée d’un village avec quelques commerces accessibles à pied, propose de beaux volumes avec notamment une cuisine très bien équipée qui devient un vrai lieu de vie. L’extérieur est agréable et assez ombragé, avec sa belle piscine et son grand bbq à charbon. La maison est proche de la rue, un peu passante en semaine en journées de semaine, mais cela ne nous a pas gêné.

Pied à terre confortable et spacieux - jolie piscine
Une propriété très agréable sans ses proportions ( grands espaces intérieurs et beau jardin + piscine ) - la proximité de la route d’Avignon assez fréquentée ajoute cependant un beau bémol pour les amoureux du calme ...si vous êtes nombreux et bruyants, vous y trouverez votre compte 😉
