What a beautiful spot. The house was beautiful, very comfortable. The lake was also great, very little boat traffic . There is also lots to do in the area (biking, tennis, golf, hiking) or going into Westport for dinner and live music at the Cove

Good place to go out

The overall stay was great, nice view from a huge windows on a gorgeous lake. Not the best road to the house, and one big issue is a garbage, I wish the host can do some changes, it took us over hour to find where to leave trash in MondayBut overall stay was great, would go there again

Gorgeous view!

Beautiful property with a stunning view. The rooms and living spaces were a great size for our party of 10. We saw a beautiful turtle, deer, birds and fish and there was lots of space at the dock for all of us. The water was beautiful and the lake is calm and quiet. The walk down to the water was pretty steep and long, so bring runners and plan to stay down at the water all day. It’s worth it for the view at the top!

This is a beautiful spot on Wolfe Lake with spectacular views of the lake and the sunrise to greet you every day! Communication with the Host was on point prior and during our stay, and I would gladly work with them again. While cellular data gets spotty on the way to the cottage, the WiFi was consistently strong.The house layout is open and welcoming with great natural light. After staying in cottages on the east side of the lake for many years, this home has a much more 'modern' feel than many places in the area. The main floor living room and dining area were perfect for our extended family to play cards/games while still keeping an eye on the kiddos while they snacked and watched TV. The separation between bedrooms gave everyone plenty of privacy, and the beds must have been comfortable because I never heard a complaint. With three full bathrooms, wait times were zero. Plus, having in-house laundry reduced what we needed to pack.The upper deck and fire pit were great for lounging and star-gazing. We never actually got around to using the hot tub, but the maintenance fellas showed up once a week as promised. They were pros, respectful, and were in and out in less than 10 minutes.The gravel walkway and stairs to the lake are well-maintained and safe as is the dock itself. That being said, as the entire west side of the lake rises steeply from the water to any home, be prepared for some cardio on the way back up. This is the price you pay for those views at the top!

Hot tub was lovely and cleaned/serviced at the beginning of the week, which was great. The cottage is beautiful, the view absolutely stunning, and the area very quiet and peaceful. It's definitely a hike to the water so anyone who wants to spend lots of time at the water would want to consider the access. That wasn't a priority for us, especially this time of year, so we were able to relax in a very quiet and beautiful location. The cottage itself is really well set up, including having quality soaps/shampoos available for guests, laundry facilities, and lots of space to relax whether to play games, watch shows, or visit/entertain. The host was very responsive to any questions we had along the way and being able to bring our pet is very important to us. It was a wonderful week!
