We adored the home, room for everyone, perfect amenities and a lovely outdoor space. We loved the simplicity of the hot tub after a day of adventure. We stayed here for a family reunion and really enjoyed this house! The big sectional in the living room was comfortable and fit a lot of people. We loved the hot tub and fire pit. They have a lot of beach gear that you can borrow including boogie boards. Only minor issue was a dripping shower faucet. We loved how close the house was to Natural bridges and the walking path along West Cliff Drive!

This home is spacious as a 4 bedroom 3 bath and comfortable with a nice hot tub and fire pit. Pets allowed which is rare for a 4 bedroom home in the area and a short walk to Natural Bridges State Beach (no dogs on beach). It is a bit worn and could use some furniture replacements, paint and a repair or two.

The accommodations were superpb and as promised! The hot tub was especially welcoming, and enjoyable for all ages. The location close to the beach was what drew us to this house. We had a great time at the tide pools! We also enjoyed going to the nearby Boardwalk. All in all this was a stellar stay which we hope to repeat!

I grew up in Cupertino and moved to Santa Cruz in 1994 after earning a business degree from Western State Colorado University. Santa Cruz drew me in with its world-class surfing, mountain biking, vibrant live music scene, and the beauty of the beach and redwoods. I spent 15 wonderful years living in a beach rental, but eventually, I craved a more rural lifestyle. That led me to Bonny Doon, just 15 minutes away in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where I settled on some acreage with my family.

Conveniently close to Highway 1 North, the area offers breathtaking coastal drives, pristine beaches, and dramatic oceanfront cliffs. Plus, it's within walking or biking distance to the vibrant Swift St. Courtyard, home to world-class wineries, top-notch breweries, and exceptional dining. This lively yet sophisticated area provides a safer and more upscale alternative to downtown Santa Cruz.

Unlike many beachside neighborhoods, this area is open and uncongested—you can park anytime without the hassle of searching for a spot. The gas grill and fire pit are directly connected to the house gas line, so you’ll never run out of fuel. Inside, the kitchen is equipped for any culinary needs, featuring a massive Sub-Zero refrigerator—perfect for stocking up on Costco runs—and a high-performance Viking range and oven.

For guests, I provide more beach gear, sports equipment, and baby essentials than most other rentals. Families will appreciate the two high chairs, Bob stroller, car seats, pack-and-play, children’s bikes with helmets, booster seat, baby gates, and a child bike carrier. For beach days, there are surfboards, bodyboards, bikes, coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, a beach wagon, and more!
