Get away to the Little River Escape beach cottage. 3/4 mile from the popular Van Damme Beach and State Park where you can relax on the sand, kayak along the sea caves, or immerse yourself in the redwoods. 2.75 miles from the Mendocino Village full of great food, wine, and art to explore.

This is a 3bd/1.5ba remodeled beach cottage that sleeps up to 6 (2 queens, 1 twin with a twin trundle). When you're done exploring, unwind on the 1 acre lot along Schoolhouse Creek complete with a deck, fire pit, hot tub, BBQ grill, and cornhole. Lie back and hang out on our hammock with a beautiful view within a ring of towering redwoods. When the fog rolls in and the day winds down, cozy up next to the fire place stocked with board game favorites. The bathroom has a rainfall shower, which is a family favorite. For those working virtually, a home office space is available with Comcast high speed cable internet.

Household water is conditioned, filtered, and UV sterilized. The hot tub is professionally cleaned after each visit.

Well, thought out accommodations

The house is well organized for guests and it is a close drive to Mendocino. The owners are quick to respond to messages and our family enjoyed this cute house. The hot tub was an extra bonus for the winter weekend.

Perfect location and comfortable accommodations!

We loved our stay at Forest Oasis! The house is well stocked with a lot of thought. Appreciated the special touches like covers for pets for the couches, extra supplies, ample towels, kitchen well set up, and the outdoor extras like the hammock, hot tub and sitting area. The location was perfect and close to plenty of trailheads, kayaking and getting in to town. It was the perfect getaway in a beautiful setting for our family. Thank you!

Cozy cabin in the woods

We were so cozy in Brian and Lenie's cottage. The house was clean and well appointed. I made sure to note the brand of shampoo I liked it so much! The house is very close to the town of Mendocino as well as Van Damme State Park. Every coastal cottage needs a hot tub and Brian and Lenie's was perfect after a day at the beach. Thank you for sharing your cute cottage with us!

Coastal retreat meets wooded oasis

Wonderful stay for a family getaway! Perfectly located amongst the redwoods but a quick drive to the beach, the house had so many great amenities and Brian was attentive throughout our stay. The house was clean and cozy with an ideal layout for spending time together in the kitchen, living, dining area.

Amazing Forest Getaway!

The property was immaculate and the looked just as it did in the photos. A gorgeous redwood backdrop and lush forest setting. The home was beautifully decorated. Tastefully appointed rooms and a wonderful layout with every thoughtful detail and amenity included. We had a wonderful time and plan to return. The owner Brian was super accommodating and reachable, we were so pleased with our stay. We highly recommend it!
