This is a very private and quiet location, but you are very short drive away from supermarkets, stores, bowling, many different restaurants, gym, pharmacy, etc. The beach Ft. Myers Beach (25 mins) Beautiful place to spend a day. Fort Myers Beach is a town on Estero Island, off the southwest Florida coast. A long, sandy beach faces the Gulf of Mexico. The Ostego Bay Marine Science Center showcases local marine life. To the east, trails run through Matanzas Pass Preserve nature sanctuary. Built on an ancient Calusa Indian shell mound, the 1900s Mound House has archaeological exhibits. Times Square shopping center has stores and restaurants. Sanibel Island (35 mins) Highly recommend a visit to this place. The most beautiful senset you will ever experience. People usually park to watch sunset and take pictures but it is never crowded and you can find your own private spot along the road. Do some research about this place. I love everything about sanibel!!!! Its beautiful. the locals are nice. shells are amazing. food is yummy. wildlife everywhere literally!!! Some will say it is best place in Florida Hands down!!! Lovers Key Beach (40 mins) Definitely HAVE to visit if you're anywhere near the area. Plenty of drift wood for the perfect picture moments. Sunset on the beach is amazing as well. Very low key not full of commerce like Fort Myers Beach. Water is nothing less than amazing, plus shell hunting is always a fun pass time. Clean and very well maintained. Great place to visit. The food There is a number of restaurants in the area you can walk to or within 5 minutes drive. Fun Things to do Everglades Day Safari - Fort Myers(25 mins) AirBoat tours With over 40 airboat operators in Florida it’s hard to know who provides the best tour. With Everglades Day Safari, we offer state-of-the-art noise dampening headsets that also allow your guide and boat captain to narrate the tour! Additionally, our airboat takes place in an amazing natural setting surrounded by wildlife. It’s easy to say it’s the best airboat experience! Cape Coral Cycling (10 min) Bike rentals daily/weekly Revolution Cable Park(25 min) Water park Lake featuring overhead cables with ski ropes to pull wakeboarders & other water-sports enthusiasts In 2003 the Revolution Cable Park idea was spawned. Today it is a reality. The cable system is a Ski Rixen Model, with 5 towers and runs in a normal counter-clockwise direction. The park encompasses approximately 20 acres and includes a 3/4 mile nature trail along one of the most pristine wetlands in the area with the addition of 270 recently planted native trees and 4,200 native plants. The cable is operated at approximately 19 miles per hour allowing riders to wakeboard, kneeboard, ski or wakeskate. 7 riders can be on the system at one time, if you fall while riding, it is just a short swim to shore and walk back to the start dock where you can be riding again in minutes. There are three smart TVs in the house with Chromcasts and apps like Netflix. You can also stream to any TV from your personal device.
