Captain Mac's Shack is located on Timber Island with spectacular views of Carrabelle Riverfront, Dog Island, and the Bay from every level. This 1BR/2BA condo will sleep 6 max with a king size bed in the master bedroom and 2 queen sleeper sofas. Well-appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, & washer and dryer. All TVs are flat screen with Roku, cable tv, internet and WIFI.

Enjoy the screened in porch which offers two ceiling fans, comfy furnishings, and a refrigerator or cool off in the pool or hot tub after a long day. Bring your boat as there is a public boat ramp on site.

Just a short drive to other restaurants and shopping in Carrabelle, as well as Carrabelle Beach which is just a mile away! St. George Island and Cape Sand Blas beaches are just a short drive also! Fishing in this area is great whether it be freshwater or saltwater!

This property has a 2 night minimum.

THIS PROPERTY IS NOT PET FRIENDLY.

Places to visit in the surrounding area include: Tate's Hell Nature Trail, the Historic Carrabelle Lighthouse and Museum, Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, Dog Island Ferry excursions, charter fishing, kayaking, cycling paths across the road, guided boat tours at Wakulla Springs, Panacea's Gulf Specimen Marine Lab (with touch pools for children), Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, a variety of local seafood eateries and a local supermarket. Close by is the beautiful St. James Bay Golf Course and Resort 370 Acres of Golf Community, Resort Style 18 hole Play golf course designed by Robert Walker. The course offers risk-reward options on almost every hole. St James Bay has also joined the growing community of Pickle ball enthusiasts with the installation of four brand new Pickle ball courts! As well as on site pool and the famous Crooked River Grill. Located a little over an hour's drive from Tallahassee, and only twenty minutes from St. George Island and Apalachicola.

It was a short visit.

Gathered with family for a few days. Our first time in the area. This was a bit more than a hotel but just being in the same condo complex was priceless. Captain Mac's place was wonder, it was comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. We would consider it again in the future.
