About this property
Traditional villa with heated pool in the hillsides, Saint-Tropez
Escape to Saint-Tropez
A serene Provencal retreat, La Bastide des Oliviers is a beautifully restored stone villa surrounded by olive groves and fruit trees, just a 5-minute walk from the village of Ramatuelle. The House
Built in traditional dry stone and surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden, the main villa sleeps up to 12 guests. Air-conditioned throughout, it features:
• Master suite with king-size bed (1.80m) and en-suite bathroom
• Two queen bedrooms (1.60m beds)
• Children’s room with two single beds, adjoining the master
The open-plan kitchen and dining area, with a table seating up to 15, flows into a spacious living room with a grand fireplace—perfect for cozy winter evenings and autumn chestnuts. The library shelves are filled with French literature, while Bose speakers and high-speed fiber Wi-Fi keep you connected.
Guest Cottages

• Poolside studio (sleeps 1): charming hideaway with bed, fireplace, shower, and private terrace
The Garden & Pool
The heart of La Bastide is its garden—lemons, figs, mandarins, grapes, and seasonal fruits to enjoy fresh from the trees. The private heated pool (with counter-current and child cover) is framed by olive groves, designed for endless days of swimming, reading, and sunbathing. A pool house, shaded pergola, and outdoor dining terrace complete the experience.
Care & Comfort
• Weekly garden care and regular pool maintenance
• Optional housekeeping services
• Wine and cheese cellar, laundry facilities, and modern amenities
The Spirit of the Place
Every detail honors the beauty of simplicity. Local stone walls, rough earthen finishes, handcrafted furniture, and curated everyday objects create a sense of authenticity—spaces where time slows and the spirit of Provence comes alive.
This is more than a house. It is a sanctuary for the soul—a place to swim, eat, laugh, rest, and restore balance. A rustic elegance, noble in its simplicity. A retreat where family and friends gather to celebrate life’s most essential joys.

About the host
Hosted by Maelle Camus
House Spirit & Sister Project.
A story of who we are, and the beauty that shapes us.
Since girlhood, Cleo and I, have been spellbound by nature’s quiet artistry. Even now, we cherish pebbles, stones, and weathered wood as tenderly as we do fine works of art. For in each, there is a story—millions of years whispered in a stone, the gentle patience of time carved into a shepherd’s table, the mystery of clay reborn through fire.
We are drawn to what is humble, imperfect, and true. To us, man is but a vessel—an interpreter of nature’s gifts—and within every flaw lies a rare grace.
This love to unpretentious beauty is woven into the spirit of this house we have inherited. Within its walls, harmony lives in simplicity, and materials reveal their own quiet poetry. This place has been our awakening—teaching us that a well-designed space does more than please the eye: it nourishes the soul and restores stillness. Here, beauty emerges from simplicity, from materials that tell their own quiet stories.
Guided by ancient wisdom, our journey is one of refined simplicity—of seeking calm, of honoring imperfections, of finding tranquility not in excess, but in essence.
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
