This was probably the most well-appointed rental I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts provided anything you could need. The property is gorgeous — the screened-in porch is even better than I expected. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. We want to come back!

What a perfect venue to celebrate our son's graduation weekend!The communication was responsive and prompt, the hosts anticipated our needs with a well-stocked home with plenty of unexpected, pleasant surprises. The home had plenty of room for all of us to spread out with different entertaining zones. We loved the back deck, hot tub and firepit areas. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay!

Great stay at Falls Lake Cottage. Rob & Susan have done an amazing job outfitting the place with everything you could need for a comfortable stay and then some. Our dogs loved running in the large fenced in back yard. It was a quiet peaceful stay and we would definitely stay again when visiting Chapel Hill.

Falls Lake Cottage overall was excellent. The house had everything plus that one would need, hosts were very friendly & helpful and location was great. House backs up to trails which run along the Lake and close to grocery stores & several restaurants. Huge yard with several amenities - hot tub, fire pit and large enclosed porch. Highly recommend!

Susan and Rob provide everything you need to have a comfortable relaxing stay at their lake house. They even provide many items you need to enjoy the Lake that is only 5 minutes away. They have thought of every possible thing you may need during your stay. Total peace of mind. The porch was our fave spot to chill and play games with the family. Big cities are a quick 15-20 min drive. Thank you for making our first visit to North Carolina memorable and special. We will always appreciate your hospitality.

Susan & Henry are sharing a meticulously cared for vacation cottage, with every possible amenity for adults, pets, and children: private, fenced in yard, hot tub, and trails that join the North Carolina Mountain to Sea trail system right off of the backyard and take you to pristine Falls Lake beaches that are private oases.They have labeled everything a guest might need, have abundant clean linens & towels, and a very well stocked guest cabinet in the beautiful & spacious kitchen. The bedrooms are comfortable and there is a lovely enclosed porch for lounging. We enjoyed our stay and will be back the next time we are in the area.

You won’t be disappointed with your stay here. Hosts are kind and helpful. House is extremely well stocked. Lots of games and activities to do at the house and the lake within walking distance. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful home. Backyard was excellent - could relax on screened in porch and hammock. Enjoyed smores by the firepit and unwinding in the hot tub at night - was a great escape from the city!Really appreciated how many activities they had for our toddler. Cars, trains, Legos, books and much more - he didn't want to leave!

Had an amazing stay. The property was beautiful. We spent hours sitting on the cozy screened in porch. The house was clean and fully stocked. The hot tub was a wonderful place to relax at the end of the night followed by a fire and s’mores, from the s'mores kit provided by the host. The host was so kind, and treated us like family.

I could not rave more about this property AND the wonderful hosts! To say they go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed and well-cared for is an understatement. This was hands-down the most organized, beautiful, stylish, functional and clean place we have stayed at. The large fenced yard was perfect for Maisie to run and the open-air porch was a delightful gathering spot. They truly thought of everything. We would definitely love to come back if we are ever in the area again! Five times one million stars!

Exceeded expectations

The property owners went above and beyond to prepare the property for our stay. The house itself is inviting and very well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor fire pit and the hiking trails behind the house. It’s also an easy drive to and from the airport. Great family home with a lot of TLC!

AMAZING!

This property was absolutely amazing and perfect for our reunion of friends. Susan was there when we arrived and was so friendly and welcoming it was as if she was one of us!
