Rustic charm and contemporary convenience combine at this gorgeous three-bedroom getaway at Rumbling Bald. A haven for outdoor recreation, this sprawling mountain resort community comes packed with endless opportunities for fun, from lake activities to on-site golf, hiking, and more.

This sprawling interior boasts soaring, 17-foot-tall ceilings and a gorgeous suite of home features designed for modern family comfort. Enjoy casual downtime around the stone fireplace in the great room or head downstairs to the game and home gym for fun and fitness with foosball, a game table, smart TV, and assortment of exercise equipment. The loft makes for a cozy reading nook or a great space for younger with a TV and VHS player. The well-appointed full kitchen has all the essentials you need for gathering with meals at the adjacent dining table. Outside, the wraparound porch comes furnished for outdoor living and a gas grill provides the makings for a backyard barbecue.

Located on the sparkling shores of Lake Lure, Rumbling Bald is one of Western North Carolina’s only multi-course golf destinations. A short drive from Asheville and Charlotte, it features two contrasting 18-hole layouts designed to delight and challenge golfers of all skills. Rumbling Bald's Wellness Center serves as the resort's central hub with amenities, family activities, and self-care options available. The gift shop features local goods and sundries. The fitness center boasts state-of-the-art equipment and weekly exercise classes. Enjoy year-round fun at the upgraded indoor pool area featuring a large, heated pool, jacuzzi, dry sauna, and steam room. There's also an on-site lending library fully stocked with books for all ages. Outside activities include an 18-hole mini-golf course, a full-sized basketball court, sports. courts, and lawn games.

RESORT AMENITIES
Rumbling Bald Resort amenities include a heated pool (open year round) 2 outdoor pools and lazy river (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) hot tub, spa and wellness center, mini golf, basketball and tennis courts, corn hole, horse shoes, lawn games, playground. 2 world class golf courses (Apple Valley and Bald Mountain). 3 Dining options (Legends on the Lake, The Gardens, Bears Cup Cafe, Eagles Nest).

THINGS TO KNOW
-Lake Lure notice: Pontoon boats and non-motorized vessels may be no longer than 28 feet. All other boats, such as ski boats, fishing boats, deck boats, etc., may be no longer than 21 feet.
-Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and pontoon boats can be rented from a local service from Memorial Week-Thanksgiving.
-Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
-Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
-All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
-Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
-No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
-This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.
-All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

RUMBLING BALD GUEST PASSES
-Guest Passes can be picked up daily between 8:30am and 7:30pm at the Guest Services Desk in the lobby of Legends on the Lake.
-The name listed on the reservation must be present to collect the passes.
-It is preferred that reservations are submitted at least 5 days prior to arrival. Any last-minute requests will likely result in delays receiving your guest passes.
-Your reservation will need to include the number of guests 12 and over so that Rumbling Bald will provide the correct number of passes
-Passes will need to be picked up during business hours from Rumbling Bald guest services.
-There is a $50 fee if any passes need replaced.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
