Great property with great hosts. Remote enough for that mountain feel, but with easy access to Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Pisgah National Forest. Arcade was a blast and the sunset over the mountains was beautiful.
My friends and I rented this place for a bachelor trip and it was perfect. The cabin had everything we needed for a fun weekend; the campfire area was our favorite. Definitely will stay here again given the opportunity
Absolutely loved this place- it was warm and filled with so many things to do for our children who are 12 and 16. The owners of the cabin are super wonderful and we were sad to leave. No other place compares to this one and we will definitely have to plane another trip there!!!
We had a great time bringing in the new year! The house was great for kids! So much to do and plenty of little nooks for hang outs. The views were lovely and the hosts were A+
I booked this trip for my husband and his friends for a guys weekend and they had the best time! Patrick was so easy to work with and made sure the guys were set up just so. They really enjoyed staying here!!!
We had a fabulous time celebrating my dad’s 70th birthday at Antler Falls, enjoying all the amenities this picturesque property has to offer. From relaxing on the porch and around the fire pit, to laser tag, bocci ball and arcade game battles, there was no shortage of memories made and fun to be had for the kids and adults alike. Christy and Patrick were wonderful, thoughtful hosts and they made our stay a great one!
We did it all at Antler Falls! From reading on the deck, corn hole, movie theatre, playing in the loft, playing in the tree house and s’mores at the fire pit, we made so many fun memories!
An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration! Our stay at Christie and Patrick's home was absolutely perfect. They are truly excellent hosts—so communicative and genuinely invested in making sure we had everything we needed. We were celebrating our twins' 7th birthday, and Christie went above and beyond by putting up a "Happy Birthday" sign and leaving a bottle of sparkling apple cider for the kids. It was such a thoughtful touch that made their entrance magical. The house itself is a hidden gem. It’s spotless, incredibly comfortable, and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. The kids were on a non-stop adventure, discovering all the "hidden treasures" scattered throughout the house. The variety of games, from air hockey to Mortal Kombat, kept everyone entertained for hours. It’s impossible to experience everything in one stay!We loved exploring the area as well, taking a beautiful hike at Catawba Falls (highly recommended!) and enjoying our favorite spots in Asheville, like Chocolate Fetish. We created so many priceless memories here. The only low point was having to leave—the kids wanted to stay forever! We absolutely can't wait to come back. We highly recommend this home; you won't regret it. Thank you, Christie and Patrick, for an incredible weekend!
Went with 6 over 60 family members. Cabin was comfortable and well laid out. Great game Room as well as lots of outdoor activities. Beautiful wrap around porch and great fire pit area. We had a great time.
Christy and Patrick were beyond amazing host! The communication with them was awesome as well! This home was secluded but not too far out of the way that you couldn’t get to a grocery store or outdoor/indoor activity somewhere near by. The amenities offered were fantastic from the hot tub to game room and treehouse! I could go on and on! Our family loved the cabin and enjoyed the Christmas decor throughout the cabin!
The property is super nice. The cleanliness was okay. Found a pair of used boxers under our sink from another guest I assume and trash. Several Cooking utensils were stored dirty and greasy. Also found several fleas on me inside. Plenty to do though and great atmosphere. Owners are super nice and are easy to reach! Would definitely stay again in the future.
We stayed at this cabin for approximately 4 days in late March. The views are spectacular, and it was an enjoyable driving from the cabin to Fairview or Asheville due to the scenic views. At the cabin, there are lots of activities for adults and children. We thoroughly enjoyed air hockey, the karaoke machine, laser tag, the hot tub, and the loft area. We also enjoyed the peaceful environment for roasting marshmallows by the fire and spending time reading in the tree house. We have highly recommended this cabin to other families and friends, and hope to re-visit in the future.
The Cabin is just Awesome it was so clean and so cool. It had so much to do like board games, arcade, indoor waterfall plenty of tvs, wifi, swings, hot tub,jet tubs, and even an awesome tree house to relax and read!!It was like a home away from home. Had plenty of items if needed like toothbrushes razors pots/pans etc. I was so glad I chose this Cabin!!! The owners are Amazing they had great communication and were nothing but great!! I Highly recommend this property to any families who need a vacation to just relax and unwind. I will return!!!!
The hosts were very communicative, easy to contact and had plenty of tips. The cabin is better in person than the pictures and is extremely cozy while providing plenty of things to see and do. Everything you need is included so all you have to bring is food and beverages. All amenities are accurately listed and we had no issues accessing the home. The views in winter are spectacular! The fireplace in the home is gas so make sure you're not expecting to build a crackling wood fire to keep you warm at night. We really enjoyed our time in Antler Falls and definitely recommend!!!
The house was stocked with so many fun family activities to keep our kids off screens and engage in games, activities, relaxation and togetherness. A perfect home base to return to after hiking and exploring River Arts District. House had everything we needed and hosts were very gracious and helpful with great communication and recommendations at the house. The fireplace and fountain above it were so beautiful and relaxing and we also loved the porch and views. Highly recommend this house! We enjoyed hiking DuPont State Forest waterfalls, Black Balsam Knob trail and Graveyard Falls along Blue Ridge Parkway (worth the drive, our hosts fav hike and they were right!!), eating at White Duck Taco Shop and 12 Bones Smokehouse in River Arts District. Thanks Patrick and Christy for a beautiful stay!!
We had a great time at the cabin. It was centrally located for all our excursions to the mountains, the falls, the Sliding Rock Park, the Catawba Falls hiking trail, and the Tyron International Equestrian Center. The mountain views were spectacular and the rich mountain air was scented with mountain laurels. Sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous from the wrap around porch. We highly recommend this getaway cabin!
If you are looking for seclusion(other than the sister house) this place is off the beaten path and away from the hustle and bustle. Our family LOVED the games and outdoor space. We really enjoyed eating on the porch and grilling out. The kids couldn't get enough of the hot tub and all the nooks and crannies. We had a blast exploring and it was very humbling as we hiked around many of the areas still recovering from Hurricane Helene’s devastation.
My husband, myself, our 18 yo and 14 yo went away for a few days. I chose this property for the entertainment with the arcade games, pool table, fire pit, and hot tub. The arcade games are not full size and neither is the pool table. This is an observation and not a critique. We enjoyed the fire pit and with the unfortunate storm, we did have a large selection of sticks. The hot tub was not "hot". I'm not sure why this was and we did not tell the owners and chose not to use it again. The drive to the property is tricky as parts of the roads have been washed away. There are crews there directing traffic but I would not recommend this drive at night. The beds are firm and the hot water in the kitchen is tricky. The waterfall never turned on above the fireplace either . The owners were so open and communicated with us regarding any messages sent. Load up on groceries before you arrive as well. We drove to Black Mountain for a few hours and it is not a long drive. Our stay was good for what it was but it is definitely a property that could use a little sprucing on the outdoor cushions for the furniture, a way to deter wasps, and a warmer hot tub. This is only our experience and shouldn't deter you from having your own experience here.
In the words of our kids, this house is "sick!" It was great for our family and we recommend it to anyone! We would definitely stay again. Our kids loved the game room and all the things to do inside and outside. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. One thing to note is the bunk room is a little more set apart from the main part of the house upstairs. Our bigger kids were okay with that, but just something to make sure you know. That said, there are so many spaces in the bigger part of the house that we would have been able to find plenty of space for everyone no matter what! We loved the fire pit and deck. The views were absolutely stunning and this house was the perfect place to get away while still being close enough to enjoy Asheville. Our daughter also loved looking for all the little animals and things "hidden" around the house. Patrick and Christy have really made this a delightful place to stay. We felt so welcomed! We would definitely stay here again if we come back this way.
My wife and her friends loved the cabin for a birthday getaway!! The owners were great hosts everything was as shown in the pictures and they even got my wife a birthday cake!!! We are looking into a family getaway here later in the year

Why they chose this property
We wanted a place that would be a refuge, far from the pace and noise of modern life, but also near some of the choicest places to visit in Western North Carolina. We appointed this cabin so that it would be a place our family would want to visit and find refreshment. Here we think you will find just that.
