This property was tired and beat. The furniture had holes in the arms and cushions. There was black mold on the dining room ceiling. The walls were water-damaged and there were crayon scribblings all over the entry way.
The owners were nice to work with. They replaced the coffee maker upon request and plowed the driveway promptly after a snowfall.
Considering the weekly rental price, the customer service was not enough value to overcome the condition of the property..

Hi Michael, we wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: "We are sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with your stay. We did our best to accommodate the many requests from several members of your group even before your stay, including a last minute, one-day early arrival at half price to arrive ahead of bad travel weather and loaning our baby swing and pack-n-play at no charge. The weekly rental price was at a peak over this particular week due to the holiday week.
To future renters reading this review, please understand that as a rental ski house, we do our very best to resolve issues as they come up. We were informed of a damaged couch under cushions and have a new sectional on the way. We have put on a brand new roof to fix leaking due to harsh VT winters and this issue was resolved in advance of this stay. Painters will cover the resulting water stains as soon as they are able, but rest assured that the property has been inspected and there is absolutely no black mold.
Also, as pointed out by this renter, when they broke our coffee maker, it was promptly replaced and snow was promptly removed. We are always readily available to ensure that our renters have a comfortable home base while they ski the beautiful mountains of Vermont."
Had a wonderful time as two families with young kids! We enjoyed the yard and nearby hiking and ice cream. The bunk bed room was a hit with kids, and the hot tub was a hit for the parents! The house came pretty well stocked with anything we needed. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!
Our family enjoyed this home to ring in the new year. The location was perfect quick ride to the mountain and for those not skiing a perfect view of Killington. Close to bars and restaurants (although some were not open there was pick up available). It was close to the golf course for walks. The hot tub was clean and perfect after a day on the slopes. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking with pots and pans. The owner was very easy to work with and very helpful. Would book again (after covid so we can go to the Wobbly Barn!!)
We had a great time in Killington. This house is beautiful and a great location. Would definitely come back. Very close to the mountain and even closer to the nightlife.
This was the perfect ski weekend house. Wake up and drink your coffee looking up at the mountain and then come back after a day of skiing and relax in the hot tub!

Incredible!
My group and I had an incredible stay. The house is beautiful and is a great location to the mountain and the local shops and eateries. Megan and Justin were great with communication before, during and after our stay. We're looking forward to staying here again!
