About this space
Welcome to lakeside luxury. This family friendly unit is on beautiful Sproat Lake, Port Alberni, BC. Bring a boat or jet ski, unit includes a boat slip. Ideal location to relax while exploring Vancouver Island. 2.5 hr drive to Victoria BC, 1 hr drive to Tofino and Long Beach. Vancouver Island has lots to offer. Nanaimo, the harbour city. Cathedral Grove known for its old growth trees, goats on the roof in Coombs. Fully stocked town house as if it were home.
The space
Family friendly unit. 1 king bed an 2 queen beds. Fully stocked kitchen, everything you need to prepare meals, pots pans, serving dishes.
Beach towels, cooler on wheels, Tommy Bahama chairs for the dock and a wagon to transport all your goodies to the dock.
Travel playpen/crib on request.
Guest access
Host will meet the guest upon arrival. Shared dock, communal fire pit with wood on site.
Other things to note
Bring your boat / Jet ski or both, we have 1 boat slip for guests.
We do NOT supply life jackets.

Great location, friendly neighbours and our absolute favourite lake! Beds are super comfy, kitchen highly equipped with everything you could think of and having TV’s in the bedrooms is a bonus for me! A/C, dishwasher, laundry machines all working efficiently. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay again. Thanks Val and Rob!

My husband were born and both raised on Vancouver Island. Rob is a local raised in Port Alberni, Iv'e lived in various locations on the island. Port Alberni is a beautiful valley that has everything an outside enthusiast would want. Hiking, swimming, boating, fishing and so much more.
Why they chose this property
Our property called the Maples, it has several town homes that are staggered so every single unit has a beautiful lake and mountain view. Our unit is tastefully decorated and very well stocked. Everything you would need for daily cooking to preparing a fine dining experience. We have tried to create our home away from home.
What makes this property unique
The location of the Maples is ideal for exploring our beautiful island. In one direction you are an hour away from world famous Tofino and Long Beach. Spend a day surfing or beach combing, hiking, eating and end your day back at the Maples and a jump in the lake before dinner. In the opposite direction in just a few hours you are in the heart of Victoria, BC. Victoria host a multitude of restaurants, bars, shopping, world famous Butchart Gardens, Empress Hotel. A gorgeous water front city filled with energy and life. Along your way you can stop and enjoy the amazement of the ancient trees in Cathedral Grove, visit the "Goats on the roof" in Coombs. If you wish too spend a few more days in Victoria we have another property in the city we could marry up with your lake stay.
