About this property
Historic Wolfeboro Home one block to Village
This 4-br, 1.5 bath colonial home offers a rare opportunity to experience the charm of a New England historic home with all the modern amenities. Located on a quiet, tree lined New Hampshire Street, the peaceful, flowing outdoor space allows families to enjoy an afternoon wiffle ball game, a family cook out, or quiet retreat with a good book. The location, just steps from the Wolfeboro Inn, town village and docks, the AbenakiTrails for hiking/biking/cc skiing, adds to it's unique year round vacation features.
It's spacious indoor living area includes 4 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a large family dining area just off the easy to navigate kitchen. The living room has a large screen smart tv with wifi speed for your streaming pleasures. There is a screened porch with inviting cozy furnishings that creates the backdrop of family memories.
Wolfeboro Bay lies comfortably on the shores of New Hampshire's largest lake, Lake Winnipesaukee. Wolfeboro can honorably boast "America's Oldest Summer Resort". The preservation of the small-town charm allows you to relive your own childhood memories, or create new ones. The season extends well beyond traditional summer vacations. With breathless autumn foliage to enjoy, to cross country ski trails right outside your door. Gunstock Ski Area is a brief 20-minute drive away, or the Abenaki Ski Trails minutes away right in Wolfeboro. And of course the famous lake ice fishing. Spring bursts into bloom, a wonderful kickstart to the warm summer season.
The house is conveniently located just a quick walk into the charming village of Wolfeboro, for a wide selection of restaurants, ice cream, sandwich and coffee shops. There is a wonderful variety of stores along the well-maintained sidewalks, many featuring local artists' work. It's convenience enjoyed by guests of the Wolfeboro Inn's many events.
The picturesque docks are a few minute walk away from the house, where you can board the famed Mount Washington ship. During the warmer seasons book a sunset dinner, or catch a ride on the mailboat as it delivers mail to hundreds of islands that rest lazily on the lake. You can choose to rent a boat and explore the scenic, mountain lined Winnie on your own. This amazing crystal-clear spring fed lake offers swimming, fishing, kayaking, etc. We have two mountain bikes, two kayaks, some floats, an inflatable paddle board, beach chairs, towels, soft cooler. We have lawn bocce, badminton set and croquet. These items are in the basement and children should not go in the basement without an adult as there are tools and other potential dangers. We love being able to share the area we enjoyed as children, and encourage you to create your own memories here.
Send me an inquiry if you have any questions about the house and/or area.
We look forward to helping you create memories at this beautiful home.

Perfect location close to shops and food.
Great walking area near the lake.
Our favorite place was the sunroom! Easy to cook and grill with nice amenities
Definitely would stay again.
Owner is an excellent communicator and accommodating.
The pictures don't do this charming place justice! The porch was our favorite spot to sit and read and hang out and feel the breeze. Every bit of our stay was lovely. I almost didn't want to give it a good review because I want to book it every summer! Ha! Couldn't say a bad thing about this lovely, well-loved home.
The pictures did not do this house justice! It is on a beautiful street of beautiful homes with large yards and trees. We walked around and found trails into the woods. You feel peacefully away from it all but you just turn the corner and you are in the village. The house was so comfortable and charming. Best bed linens I ever experienced in a rental. The kitchen had everything we needed to make family meals. The porch is so cozy and comfortable, I fell asleep reading. We will definitely be back next year.

Thanks for staying Kathryn. So glad you enjoyed your stay. We’ll look forward to your return visit!
We had the pleasure of renting this lovely well hugged home. We have been looking for a place to be able to visit this upcoming winter with our adult children and their families. Living in Southern New England, my husband and I decided to visit a couple of properties, to get a feel which would work for us.
The house was better than described.
Our bullet list. ALL checked…4 bedrooms, kitchen to prepare meals for 8 people, dining seating for 8 people, (6 adults 2 children). Comfortable beds, (very comfortable). Enough room for everyone to spread out. Washer & dryer.
The bonus points…. walk to town! Walk to the docks! Huge yard, quiet friendly street. Grocery store 10 minutes away. Everyone we met was so nice.
Biggest bonus, looking forward to taking family pictures on the stairs to the 2nd floor. They are just beautiful. The settee at the front door also a great family photo spot. We loved this house, felt right at home.
We are looking forward to a fun family winter vacation, and having our grandchildren ski at the local Abenaki Ski area. It’s perfect for the kids, (ages 5 & 8), and very affordable.
Thanks Mary & Bruce your house is as cozy and you were wonderful. See ya soon!
