The rental home was beautiful and had amazing views, but the stay was negatively impacted by a lack of hot water. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the host ultimately stated that the hot water system was broken and could not be repaired over the weekend. After we requested a credit/refund for the issue, which host underplayed as an “inconvenience” in his apology did not respond to the call or voicemail and only later mentioned that a propane technician would refill the tank. We were frustrated that the issue was not identified or addressed before arrival and that no refund or compensation was offered for the unsatisfactory experience.

Booked this for a girls weekend getaway. Stunning view from this property and a walkable winery right next door! Many wineries within 5 min drive as well. Some quirks with the amenities but the hosts were quick to respond. Kitchen had very basics but not much else. We spent most evenings in the hot tub and by the firepit. Great for group!

We really enjoyed our stay-our whole family had a wonderful time. The views were beautiful, and the pool was a highlight for everyone. The outdoor areas were especially lovely in the evenings, perfect for relaxing together. The bedrooms were comfortable for our group, and everything inside, especially the bathrooms and bedrooms, was very clean. We also appreciated the beach towels, the convenient laundry room, and the host's great communication. They were responsive and helpful throughout our stay.There are just a few areas that could use some attention to make the experience even better. The large dining table is positioned in front of the TV rather than in a dedicated seating area, and the two small couches don't provide enough comfortable seating for a larger group, particularly for the older family members. The kitchen had the basics, but it wasn't quite equipped for cooking larger meals, so we had to prepare things in batches. Upgrading the cookware would make a big difference. There is a Keurig coffee maker, but a NO standard coffee maker would better accommodate larger groups.We also noticed a few maintenance items: some missing outdoor cushions, a minor ant issue in the kitchen, and the pool table in the game room could use repair, as the pockets are worn.Overall, a lovely property that was thoroughly enjoyed.

This property is a perfect location on top of the hill on the De Portola winery trail. The house is very accommodating and is a perfect space for a small or large group to stay. Definitely would stay here again in the future.

Amazing Views! Wonderful Stay!

We stayed here with my family, ages ranging from 40 - 72. Everyone had a lovely time. We practically lived outdoors for the 4 nights we were there. The owners were extremely accommodating and responsive. The stay was wonderful. We will definitely be back!
