Charming in every way, this ocean view property invites you to spend your mornings on the patio, your days exploring the plethora of natural amenities that our area offers, and your evenings on our western-facing deck watching the sunset with a wine glass in hand. Extra clean, with an abundance of natural light, and a fully-equipped kitchen with everything that you would need for a short or a long- term stay , and the hot tub available to you is PRIVATE and for your exclusive use. This unit also contains a bonus room with a queen size pullout bed that sleeps two. Ocean's Edge is the southern unit in this duplex property.

This place was really spectacular for our family of four, I’ve never stayed at a rental that had pretty much everything you could possibly need for a couple days. The towels were plentiful, fresh coffee (local) beans, a grinder, really comfy beds, robes, a fully stocked kitchen, paper towels, laundry pods… I am so appreciative of this! My only complaint is that the full bathroom was really small, which is tough to share with three men (husband and two teenage boys). But luckily there is a half bath for everything else besides showering. On the pricey side but worth it. Definitely five stars.

Amazing stay. Honestly was thrown off by the number of five star reviews on this listing, but i guarantee they are all warranted. Andy was a very good, professional, and communicative host. The unit is well located, well kept, and well stocked with great amenities. Comfortably kept a crew of four over the memorial holiday weekend. Would absolutely stay again

A perfect home base in a great location! Totally seamless check in and check out process, so many wonderful in-house surprises (snacks, stocked kitchen seasonings and cooking supplies, robes, tons of extra blankets, etc.), incredible views, and easy access to lots of wonderful sights and locations like Sequoia Park Zoo, Trinidad, Eureka Old Town, etc. Be aware there is no easy access to the beach from the back yard, it’s views only. We didn’t read the listing closely enough so we were slightly bummed but there are so many close beaches within 10 mins driving that it’s not a big deal. Safeway is close by for a bigger grocery run but check out Roger’s Market on the corner a few blocks away for small essentials. 5 star stay for sure, thank you Andy for an amazing experience for our family!

Our stay was great. Hope to come back. Location was perfect. Hot tub and views were highlights. The house is well stocked with what seemed to be everything and more you would hope for in a VRBO. We really enjoyed the board games. Beds were comfy. Heater worked well. House was very quiet and peaceful.

Ocean’s Edge is one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in. Andy has thought of and provided everything you could possibly need. The furniture and beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked . Great location also with a beautiful view of the ocean. We hope to return!

Cozy Oasis with a View

Each time we stay, we are reminded why this rental feels like home: the space is comfortable for a family and well-appointed, with a lush yard and spectacular views of the river and the ocean. And there is a beautiful trail to explore just steps away! Such a special place!

I am a Humboldt County resident that has lived between Trinidad and McKinleyville most of my life. I retired a few years back after owning my own cabinet manufacturing business for the past 30 years. These days I enjoy spending most of my time outdoors. A few of the hobbies that I enjoy the most are landscaping, painting, traveling and I recently started playing guitar again.
