As we discussed, sorry about the issues with outside. Also as I stated if I had known before you checked out, I would've sent someone to address the issues immediately. I wasn't aware of the wagon wheel- you didn't mentioned that before. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay overall though.

I apologize that you experienced such a bad time. As I shared with you, I had the refrigerator serviced a month prior and it had been fully functional up until your issue. I had a guest there right before you and they had no problem so it was impossible for me to know that you would have issues with it. Moreover I tried to accommodate you the best that I could given the situation-including bringing a fridge over from another property that same day, offering use of another property 2 doors away, offering $400 refund for the two nights, and offering to pay for any food that couldn't go in the freezer. I understand your frustration but I did what i could with it being an unpredictable issue. The replacement fridge is working fine. As the repair person stated all refrigerators take a little while to cool down after a move. There was nothing that I could do to get the temperature down immediately. Ultimately I gave you a full refund even though you stayed 2 nights because none of my solutions were to your satisfaction. While I agree that you should not be inconvenienced, I strongly feel that I was as accommodating as possible. As far as the patio is concerned, we wipe the table down however with a wooded backyard, it is prone to dust and leaves. I wish you the best.

Respectfully, I think you have misrepresented the details. First, my ad does not say lake view- the property does have water access which is explained in the ad. Before agreeing to the change, I supplied you the ad to review details and see the pictures. As a further note, Cozy Cottage does not have a lake view either. As far as the pricing- I discounted the entire stay almost 50%. It was much lower than my typical rate at Sunset Shanty. I also reviewed these details with you prior to you agreeing to move. I understand that it was frustrating that you could not get the TV to work- there is a second tv in the bedroom that could be used in either room. The TV is less than a year old and if you were staying more than 2 nights, I would have brought another one there. Upon your departure, my cleaner was able to get the TV on without any issues. I am not sure why it wasn't working for you - I do apologize. I am not discounting your disappointment but I think it is only fair to share all the details. Additionally, I understand that you were disappointed with the property and I apologize for that. Again to be fair, I gave you advance notice of the septic problem and the opportunity to cancel the reservation for a full refund. I didn't know when the repair would be completed so I didn't want to have you get canceled at the last minute. The choice was given to you in advance. Although Shanty is a different style property, the property is a highly sought out VRBO and AIRBNB. I host clients back to back. I moved two other reservations from the cottage to the shanty within the same time frame and they were pleased. In fact, one guest has already booked a second trip. Lastly, when you said that you were not pleased, I offered an additional discount of $40 and even offered a free stay at the cottage at a later date. My goal is to make sure that all of my clients leave the property happy and satisfied with their stay and I'm sorry that I fell short of that with you.
