Stayed for business conference trip. Steve's place was clean, tidy and comfortable. The location was outstanding - walking distance to DT and lots of great places to eat along Davie Village (if you're a poutine fan, hit up Fritz!). More reasonably priced than a hotel. Would stay again.

The location is right in the heart of things - restaurants, bars, beaches, nightlife. But the apartment had several non-working light switches, bathroom sink plumbing problems, lacked end tables and nightstand, cramped and uncomfortable eating area. The patio looked nice, but the outdoor furniture was filthy.
15 - 30 minute walk to just about everythingClean and secure second story unit, checkout process was easy and explained in the app. Building including patio is non smoking. The location is in the part of town and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Couldn't think of anything we didn't like!! (5 night stay)
A great place! Very reasonable in price, well equipped, clean and comfortable! Very safe and secure building!
Host is great too...always available!
We will be back!!
We
I enjoyed our stay here.
The location was great and most of what we wanted to do in the area was walkable from this location. The amenities were as advertised and the communication with the host was great. We got in really late and I was having issues with my phone and Stephen worked with me to get us checked-in despite these challenges.
I’d definitely stay here again.
The property was a bit dated but basically ok. Lots of small restaurants in the area to walk to and the amenities of downtown Vancouver were easy to access. Check in was easy and communication with the owner was good. The area felt reasonably safe when walking around.
We had a great stay at this apartment. It's in a convenient location and had everything we needed for the 4 days we were in Vancouver. I would caution that the sofa bed would not be particularly comfortable for two adults for more than one night.
Otherwise everything else was great and the little office area and patio are nice perks that you don't find in many other places. particularly at this price.
The apartment was fully furnished and met all our needs. The internet was super fast and the Roku TV was perfect. The location is ideal and since we had rented a car there is a free parking space assigned to the building. Elevator takes one from the garage straight to the floor of the apt. Very safe and secure. The little cafe around the corner, YOLKS, was delicious and the staff very friendly
and welcoming.
Wonderful stay at a beautiful, clean apartment in downtown Vancouver. The location was close to most of the places we were either driving to or walking to. The check-in process was a little tricky, but after the first time of doing things, got easier, and we felt very safe and felt our car and belongings were very secure. It was very nice to be able to come and go without worrying about pay for or finding a parking spot every time we needed to use the car. I would highly recommend this unit. We would definitely stay here again!
Urban oasis is the perfect description as the apartment is surrounded by trees and a private patio, but still nestled right in the heart of the city. We appreciated the convenient location to both Granville Island and Stanley Park. We used buses during the entire stay and the stops were very close. We also appreciated the very secure building and parking. Only negative is the outdoor furniture is in need of some TLC or at least cushion replacement. The hammock is quite mildewed. Would recommend though.
Was a great property for our stay & accurately listed. For downtown Vancouver the area was very clean and had limited homeless population around the building so we felt safe. Great breakfast spot, nail salons, and convenience store steps away. Close walking distance to shopping. A bit of a trek but walkable from Roger’s Arena. No fault of the owner but there was loud construction going on about 630am 1030pm. Ear plugs were provided. The host was kind of hard to communicate with and didn’t always respond to messages, but we had no issues and graciously allowed us a very late check out while we waited for our evening flight.

Great space and location
The space was perfect for what we needed. Great walkability to everything. Only downside we had was during the check-in process. We had given the host a heads up we were going to be arriving very late, and when we arrived we could not get ahold of them to let us in. When we finally did reach the host, they seemed bothered with the time we were calling, which was in line with the arrival time we had previous discussed.
Aside from this, we enjoyed our stay at this property.

Just OK
Check in was painful. Host failed to mention the front door keypad is broken so we went down the alley to the basement keypad and he didn't answer repeatedly. When it is warm, no conversation is possible in the living room. "Air conditioning" is a loud portable unit that exhausts into the den because the window hole they cut doesn't fit. Bed uncomfortable no mattress pad.
The Urban Oasis is, like its namesake, is an exercise in extremes. Sleek building, Chic locale which veers from upscale to downtrodden in a few blocks. Watch for fallen junkies enroute to fabulous Maxine's.
The unit is both great and not. Kitchen beaut. except half its area, clearly meant to be a dining space, is instead a bolted monstrosity of shelves forming a weird attempt as an office. Bath great. Bed comfortable but only one side table. Living Room: couch comfy but No Rug. At all. A LR w/o a rug is a bed w/o a pillow. No coffee table. There is a large floor unit air conditioner which works great but in order to cool the BR you'll need the provided fan.
The only dining set is a table 4 feet high which is cool for standing, but if you want to sit, have fun perching on the hard topped backless stools which I found a torture. Lastly, though we were only two people and did not need or request it, a fugly folded wire and mattress cot was parked in front of the lovely LR windows (which I had to clean btw). I guess it is up to guests to deal with it unless you want a nursing home bed as your view. I re-parked it into the ugly office.
Also lots of wifi gadgets everywhere but not one night light, or any hooks for your bag or jacket.
With a few thoughtful tweaks, putting more effort into comfort and functionality, more true amenities, less plastic plants, this unit could earn the five stars the host so dearly wants. But good reviews must be Earned, my good host. Earned.
