Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay. It is small, but that is what we expected and it's very cozy! Everything was clean. Surprisingly felt private even though it is RIGHT next to Publix. Wifi was good (I was able to do a Zoom interview with no issues). Also, in walking distance of Coffee Ave (a coffee food truck that we LOVE). We even walked to Starcade Billiards (great pool hall), though that's a bit further. Overall, a very nice stay. Would recommend to others.

We really enjoyed the close proximity to Ft. Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island (great beaches), restaurants and shops within walking distance, including a Publix supermarket. We highly recommend The Magnolia Grill for fine dining as the food and service were excellent to outstanding. Locally owned & operated for more than 25 years. The cottage was very clean, amenities were generous, A/C was a welcome relief in this heat. being close in without paying exorbitant "beach" prices was enabling to say the least. We would definitely recommend this host in the future and plan to stay again sometime soon.

Everything was fine, there is lots of parking space and the small area was comfortable until the day before checkout, the toilet became clogged. We had to leave before the scheduled checkout time because we never received a response from the host until the day after we had already left. Unfortunately, that experience was disappointing, and I don't think I'll be returning. There were a few roaches and insects. The area also gets very congested during rush hours, and the beach is about 10–15 minute drive away.

Great stay!

This was the second time I've stayed at the property! They have updated the fridge to also have a freezer! I love that they provide beach towels and chairs to use! Overall, this is my favorite place to stay in Fort Walton!

Comfy and cozy near beach

My teenager and I, small dog included, immensely joined our stay. Traffic is a bit cumbersome, but this place is so charming. The beach, restaurants and shops are within miles of this cottage. (Publix and Waffle House are within walking distance.) Amazing time, thank you!
