We booked a site here for the Baseball Hall of Fame Induction weekend. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to come back to such a lovely and relaxing space. The breakfast was amazing! Omelettes, waffles, bagels, so many options. It was all set out for us to make what we wanted. The attention to detail throughout was wonderful. We would definitly stay again if we are in the area.
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend when we were in the area for the Cooperstown Hall of Fame weekend. It was a new experience for both of us but so much fun. The hosts were super friendly and available to help if you needed anything. We would definitely go back.
The grounds are a nicely manicured hillside cleared out from the surrounding forrest. Patches of garden dot the area breaking up sight lines and keeping the feeling of wilderness strong, even with a bathhouse, campstore, and tents all near by. Many of the patches of garden are blueberry bushes which we were encouraged to harvest from as we wished. (I ate a LOT of berries.) The accomodations in our tent were fantastic. Power was available in outlet and USB, as well as a wireless charger on the nightstand. There were also all of the standard bnb style amenities (cups, dishes, untensiles, towels, toiletries, etc...) and a very comfortable queen size bed. It was like a nice hotel room stuffed into an adorable tent.I generally wouldn't call out an included breakfast (because they are usually pretty underwhelming) but the spread here was noteworthy. It was all serve yourself with a toaster, waffle maker, and omelet cooker available, but the variety was fantastic. There were cereal, bread, and egg options, a variety of granola bars, pop tarts, and breakfast snacks, and lots of fresh fruit. The soaking tubs were well worth booking just on their own. It was incredible soaking, relaxing by the fire, and stargazing all at the same time!I have to praise Chrissy and fam for being such great hosts. They managed to hit that perfect balance of providing everything we needed while not being around to interrupt our privacy.A property. Will 100% be visiting again.
