Baseball getaway

We stayed at this property while my son was playing ball in Cooperstown. So peaceful and such a cute little place! We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book here again if in town!

Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Perfect for our stay while my son was at All-Star Village, an easy 20-minute drive. Only regret is we didn’t spend enough time there to explore the property.

This location is about 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of town and baseball fields. It was perfect to go back and relax and enjoy the outdoor surroundings. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay for a busy week of baseball at Cooperstown. It is a beautiful, quiet getaway in the woods close to the ball park! It’s got everything you need including on site washer and dryer. The cottage was spotless and comfortable! Host was super!

So Peaceful!

We loved our stay at Chrissy’s property! The cottage was tucked far enough away in the woods to feel remote without feeling cut off, and it has all the conveniences you could need. We really enjoyed being able to cook in the full kitchen, and loved the windows that showed off the forest views. Only regret is not staying longer!

Cooperstown baseball tournament stay

I enjoyed my stay at Old World village; it was a great place to stay during my son’s baseball tournament at Cooperstown. If you like nature and being in the woods in a quiet setting, this is the perfect place to stay. The property was clean and was well appointed regarding kitchen items, bathroom essentials and linens. The property manager, Chrissy, was very easy to get in touch with and responded to questions quickly and in a pleasing way.

Hideaway

Cute little hideaway perfect for escaping. The cabin is off the road quite a bit with nature all around it. There is a total of 3 cabins in the area, but they are all spaced far enough apart. The covered porch area was wonderful! Host was very friendly. Cottage was perfect for our family of 4. There is no Wifi which the children didn't like but it is stated in the description that there is none. The laundry service is wonderful too!

Perfect Spot

We stayed here while our son played at All Star Village. Perfect spot! It was about 20 minutes to both Dreams and ASV. This location was peaceful and had everything we needed. The screened in porch was perfect, as it rained a lot while we were there. We could still sit outside and stay dry. If you are looking for a place to stay while your child is at either place, this is it! It would be great if you could get 2 other families from your team to stay in the other cabins or the Chalet so that you have company in between games. Chrissy was great to work with and very accommodating.

Wonderful respite

My family was in the area for our son's 12u baseball week in Cooperstown. The whole Cooperstown experience was amazing - and, a bit exhausting as well. This property was a wonderful respite from the baseball craziness and really made the week feel like a vacation and not just another crazy baseball tournament. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies and the screened porch was great for yoga and to recharge. Fishing and kayaking 2 minutes away kept our younger son occupied during down time and the recommendations of other area attractions were welcome. A great place if you want a cozy place to get away!

Why they chose this property

Cottages are tucked in a wooded area off the main road giving you a feeling of camping without the tent! With plenty of space between each cottage you have privacy even if traveling with others. Each cottage includes a fire ring, charcoal grill and porch to relax on.

What makes this property unique

All guests have access to coin washer/dryer located centrally near all cottages. There are 40 acres of woods to explore. Enjoy our meadow walk located at entrance, with many critters to keep an eye out for! Our guests have seen rabbits, deer, turkey, turtles and many more.
Please note that all our cottages have a low ceiling in the loft area. This is a great space for kids!
Like to fish? Only mins away you take a half mile drive to Crumhorn State fishing access. Or rent a kayak for the day and enjoy the Susquehanna River! Again this is only mins away.
