Dawson's Peak is a beautiful cabin located just two minutes from the center of the charming town of Valle Crucis and just a short drive from Boone and Banner Elk. Exuding rustic charm, this three bedroom three bath is perfect for families or friend groups looking for the perfect mountain getaway with all the modern conveniences of home. Dawson's Peak is all about location as it's close to Grandfather mountain, App State, popular hiking trails, and Valle Crucis park. Very Spacious and great for kids. Cabin includes a game room with a pool table and the property also has a very nice hot tub!

Great Christmas

We a a great stay at the cabin. We enjoyed all the amenities in it. First Christmas of my grandson and family and it was priceless. Host was very responsive. Great experience.

Perfect Homebase

The cabin was a perfect home base for our mountain trip. Centrally located just off 105, it provided a great landing spot after busy days of hiking, zip lining, etc. It seems basic, but I appreciated that everything was clean and in working order (hot tub, fire place, kitchen appliances, etc!), which is what you really want at the end of a long day managing children and traversing the area! The cabin has several indoor and outdoor gathering areas, so it works great for families. With a cozy mountain feel and great service from the owners, the cabin exceeded expectations.
