Great place!
Very clean. Beautiful views! The only thing that bothered us was there was no thermostat for the downstairs. The days were quite warm while we were there, and when we got the upstairs to a comfortable temperature, the downstairs was super, super cold! Regardless, we would probably stay there again if we ever go back.
This place is wonderful! Perfect for our large family. Our only complaints would be that there were no replacement garbage bags in the house, which we found a little odd. Also, there is only one thermostat that controls upstairs and downstairs. It was quite warm during our stay, so when we adjusted the air to be comfortable upstairs, it was extremely cold downstairs, but we made do with extra blankets. Regardless of these minor issues, the overall experience was absolutely wonderful, and we would definitely stay there again!

Great mountain home.
Great spaces to spread out, big kitchen with plenty of cookware and dishes to cook meals and sit together at the long table, comfortable beds, everything well appointed to make our stay comfy. Covered porch was a great place to start the day. The house is surrounded by trees but close to grocery stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
The house is beautiful, we really enjoyed the pool table and the fuzz ball. Everything in the house worked great. The house was very clean and comfortable. Conveniently located. I highly recomend this house. Verbo is great.
The house was wonderful but the views from the deck was even better. The view of the mountain and leaves changing was great. The house has plenty of of room for my family to relax and play together. We will stay again.

We arrived to our rental which was very nice. Got everything unloaded out of 3 vehicles and settled in. Only to realize that the water did not work. My husband went out to the water meter to make sure the water was on. He came back inside and said a shovel was laying beside the meter, and it looked like a torch lighter had been used and melted part of the meter. Sure enough. THE PIPES WERE FROZEN! We contacted the host. He told us the pipes were probably frozen. Either we could move or stay there with no water. not happening! can’t flush the toilet, can’t take a shower, can’t cook ( which groceries had already been purchased) Problem was the only place they had available was 30 minutes away. . We loaded up everything and moved. Mind you we we had driven most of the day and had already purchased twilight passes to ski that night. However, having to travel 30 minutes one way and unload the vehicles again and drive back 30 minutes. We had to forfeit our night ski session. I get it accidents happen, and I was thankful for the host finding us another place. Although, it was definitely a downgrade. One thing that really perturbed me was the fact that we were sent a text saying our house had been cleaned and we could check in. When we arrived. There were a few dirty dishes in the sink.. Which only made sense that the cleaning crew knew the water didn’t work. How do you clean without water? They told me we would be compensated. I have been contacting the company for 3 weeks.
We had a great time at this house! 5 mins away from everything your family would want to do! The house was very clean and up to date! We loved the game room! Low on silverware so we had to do a lot of dishes! Over all our family would love to vist again next year!

Awesome rental.
The house was lovely and roomy. One of the cleanest vacation rentals we have ever been in! Great location to Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Grandfather mountain, and Boone and Blowing Rock. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of bath towels, everything you would need. Nice large laundry room. All bathrooms were large and very clean. The downstairs rooms were super nice and the common area has a pool table and nice play room for children. Nice yard out back for dogs. 2 decks- 1 upper and 1 lower. The view of the mountains was great. I texted the staff a couple of times and received immediate response. Loved the house!

Positives: The house was fabulous. Had everything that we needed for cooking and dishes accommodating 6 of us. The covered porch was a hit and the view was nice- just a partial view of the mountains but trees were at their fullest. We appreciated being able to drive up to the door to unload and that 3 bedrooms were on first floor. ( some of us are unable to climb flight of stairs). Great location to trails and Banner Elk.Negatives: There was only one extra garbage bag for us. We were also asked to take our garbage after checkout to the local waste facility a couple miles away. Very inconvenient. Seems that there could be bear proof cans at the house. There was also only enough porch furniture for 3 people. Luckily we brought camping chairs with us. Communication with Vacasa was terrible. Trying to get answers prior to going took a while and many back and forth emails. There was a separate charge from VRBO when we paid the bill that was confusing and took a while to get an answer. When we had another issue about the grill and didn’t get an answer, we finally called the local Vacasa near our rental and they were great- responded immediately to our request! In summary, we had a great time and loved the house. Bring extra garbage bags and camping chairs. And work with the local Vacasa folks if you can find the number, rather than the main support center.

Loved the house and its location. Our only complaint would be a new company needs to be hired to clean the property. When we arrived the refrigerator had not been wiped out, the dishwasher was full, the glass doors hadn’t been cleaned, the oven was filthy which led to a terrible burning smell each time we used it, the trash took up almost half of the garage, and there was dust and dirt under the sofas. The management company was very quick to respond when we called, although the only thing they could really address was the garbage once we were there. We did receive a partial refund of our cleaning deposit. I know there was not much they could do once we were there, but I would highly suggest getting another cleaning group or checking the house once they say it’s ready. There also needs to be more trash bags in the kitchen. We only had the one in the can. These things didn’t spoil our otherwise wonderful, snowy, frigid time there. The house was perfect for our family vacation and, being from Florida, we loved the snowy conditions.
Got there Friday at 5pm. Tried to go up the driveway in my 4x4 truck and started sliding a quarter of the way up. I tried to stop from sliding and slid into the ditch on the property. Called vacasa and they told me they would get back to me. Never got backed to me. I called and texted multiple times from friday at 5pm to this morning befor we checked out. Over and over they said sorry and they would get back to me. As of right now i still have not heard from anyone. Me and my family were stuck and could not do anything for 2 days. I asked for a plow or scraper to come help me but nothing was done. Every other drive way was perfect for vehicles to drive on. Knowing it was going to snow Wednesday and Thursday the property management should have did something about the driveway. It was like a ice ring. My sister drove all the way from Charleston south carolina just so we would have a way to get around and she couldnt make it until sunday. Our weekend plans were ruined..i ended up walking the mountain woods to find logs and also a house that was under construction i found boards to put in and across the ditch and then had to ask a stranger to pull me sidewas so i could get un stuck. Finally yesterday i got my truck out. But still called vacasa back and they said the same thing that they was working on it and would call back. But they did not. My family had to park at a random property and pray they were not towed. We also had to carry all of our belongings up the slick driveway.
