Welcome to Big Tree Cottages on St. Charles Bay!

Enjoy your stay in this coastal studio that sleeps four.

You will have an adventure fishing from the 500' shared pier. At the end of the pier, there is an 800 sq. ft T-head. There is a fish cleaning station so you can prepare your catch for the evening's dinner.

The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, small cooktop, microwave, and coffee maker.

The entire cottage is decorated with a tranquil palette that creates the perfect setting for relaxation. This studio has two full-sized beds and a loveseat in the living area with a flat panel television. The bathroom features an upgraded countertop and a custom tiled walk-in shower.

These cottages are across the street from the Lamar public boat ramp making it the perfect spot for a fishing vacation. You are also only a short drive away from Goose Island State Park where you can enjoy fishing and bird watching. This is also the location of the Big Tree which was named the State Champion Coastal Live Oak in 1966 and although it no longer holds the title it is still one of the biggest Live Oak trees in Texas. You are also near the Copano Causeway wade fishing area and boat ramp. Lamar also has great places to eat like Pop's Tavern and Cafe where you can order delicious steaks, seafood, and burgers.

Definitely will be back.

Definitely will be back. Cottage is small and very clean we liked the fact that the shower has a shampoo, body wash, and conditioner which is very convenient if you forgot your shampoo or conditioner, also fishing pier close by along with goose island. Private pier for guests, love the seclusion of the area! Staff was very friendly and cooperative.

This was a wonderful little get away for two! The pier goes on forever and although you share it with other guests there is plenty of Room for everybody. Great shore fishing as well. It is a beautiful location and we would love to go back again. The beds were comfortable. There was enough room in the kitchen for light cooking. Great restaurants for take out in Rockport as well. We were very grateful for the one hour early check in and the 2 hour late check out.

At first I was disappointed because I didn't realize this was a duplex and the pier was shared, but after staying there, it wasn't bad at all and we would stay here again! The Team is always awesome! The people at the office are always friendly and helpful. The houses are cute, quite, and clean.
