BraveWave | Pool, Hot Tub, 1000 ft Fishing Pier!

Welcome to unit #410 - Bravewave, a beautiful 1-bedroom condo on the fourth floor of the newly remodeled Laguna Reef Resort. Enjoy gorgeous views of Aransas Bay from the balcony of this cute beach condo. Sunbathe in the Laguna Reef swimming pool or relax in the hot tub. Guests will have access to a 1000 foot lighted fishing pier which is great for bird watching as well as fishing! There are also multiple grilling areas if you want to cook up your catch of the day!

The primary bedroom has a king sized bed and there is a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room to comfortably sleep up to 4 people. The living room is bright and open with large windows overlooking the bay and a cable TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. The bathroom has a walk in tiled shower and coastal decor. All linens and towels will be provided for your convenience. Guests can also use the coin operated machines in the laundry room.

Bravewave is located near the Rockport Heritage District and Rockport Beach. Spend a day in the sun at the Rockport Beach where you can rent jet skis, swim with the kids, or grill up some food at one of the picnic areas. The Rockport Beach also allows fishing and gives you the option to purchase a day pass or an annual pass. There are two piers at the Rockport Beach, the south pier is free and the north pier has a beach admission fee. There is also a boat ramp. We have a list of fishing guides on our site as well.

Downtown Rockport is filled with shops and restaurants if you feel like a night out and some fresh seafood on the water. Check out a list of restaurants in Rockport on our site under activities and attractions. If you feel like shopping than you can grab a cup of coffee at the Daily Grind and walk along Austin Street and visit the shell shops and cute clothing boutiques.

This is also a prime location for birding! Little Bay has many protected areas for birds that you can enjoy while walking along the water. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. Notice: The Laguna Reef spa is temporarily out of order due to ongoing repairs. The hot tub gets to temperature, but no jets available at this time.

Peaceful July 4th Getaway

I really enjoyed a 3 night get away over the 4th! This condo has great views of the bay. The staff was very helpful, the unit was very clean and sufficiently equipped. Rockport is a sweet town that I hope to get back to soon!

End of school Get-away

We enjoyed everything; we ate out most of the time, but the kitchen was big enough for us and stocked well. the view from the balcony is incredible. The pool and hot tub were nice. Not there to fish but the fishing pier was nice and full of friendly individuals ready to tell you a fishing story or two. Planning to return later in the summer for another round of R&R.

Great Fishing

Facility was well managed, immaculate and attractive. Terrific fishing pier! Staff was great.Unfortunately, our unit needed updating. Sliding doors had broken lock and loose handle. Bedding was obviously well used and pillows lumpy. There were no washcloths. We are actually considering a long-term rental here but will probably not rent a private unit through Miss Kitty again .

WELCOMING STAFF! HELPFUL and FRIENDLY! We had a smooth check in! Very impressed once we walked into the Condo and saw the INCREDIBLE view! All seemed very pleasant and as pictured, however, we would be extremely disappointed when it came time for bed. When you find almost every pillow saturated with yellow stains and the fluff almost completely gone, you can only imagine the feeling. Locked into a weekend stay and getaway that happened to be for one of our sons on his last weekend free before he starts his College Football Career states away. We were completely disgusted and stuck with no where else to go or other options being locked into this place. We made due with bought blankets because when it came to the comforters provided, they smelled of an old smoky smell and really should be replaced and thrown away along with the yellow stained pillows! When I thought that was bad enough I went to take off the linens per the check out instructions only to be even more disgusted as if it wasn’t enough, finding a yellow stained mattress that is clearly old and worn and also needs to go! I am not a fan of bad reviews but this place forced my hand! We have homes that we rent out and would be completely EMBARRASSED and ASHAMED to allow this to be in one of our homes! Will close with this, this Condo may have been a disappointment with all of this filth but we found JOY in the moments we shared because of the BEAUTIFUL pier and surrounding walking areas.

last minute changes--no pool or hot tub

on our arrival day we got notified that pool and hot were being refinished--no mention of this while reserving--quite disappointing--no reason to wait till last minute--then upon arrival they started filling pool instead of hot tub--it was Novemenber who was going to use the pool--4 days later when checking out they started filling hot tub--so sad--and front desk staff acted like "out of our control--could care less" great place other than that deceitful listing--lack of caring

Lovely view - worked well for small kids

I was pleasantly surprised with the condo. It was larger than it appeared in the pictures and the sleeping arrangements worked out well for my family (two adults, a child and a baby). The view from the balcony was lovely. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed in terms of kitchen supplies, bedding, towels, etc. The pool area was pretty active right up until closing time but noise was not an issue at all on the 4th floor. We would return. I think its important for me to note that none of the employees wore masks at all during our visit so if this is a concern of yours, it's worth taking this into consideration before booking a visit.
