Serenity Cove - Goodyear Lake - The name says it all - serenity and relaxation! This delightful waterfront home is located on Silliman Cove - a special quiet part of Goodyear Lake. This section of the lake is spring-fed. Because of the lay of the land and the nature of the cove, the water is a perfect mirror. Let the quiet waters work their magic on your soul. It has 50 feet of private waterfront

Serenity Cove is perched on a knoll above the lake, which enhances the view. It has a user friendly waterfront with a level section at water's edge. This is an ideal section for kayakers or stand-up paddle board enthusiasts. Bring your own or rent form the Kayak shop at the head of Goodyear Lake.

This cottage has 2 bedrooms and one bath. The open floor plan allows for a view of the lake from the dining area, the living area and the kitchen. Glass doors open out to an open deck for outside grilling and dining. Serenity Cove is an ideal choice for someone seeking some solitude.

The water and the view are wonderful

Great little place, simple, clean, nothing fancy, owner is nearby, but not intrusive. The view from the back deck was fantastic, we rented kayaks which were dropped off for us before we arrived. Was easy to put in from the private dock down the stairs. Water is so nice we could kayak out into the main lake with little effort and really enjoy the scenery.

Wonderful Lakeside Home

Beautiful lakeside setting on a quiet street. Very comfortable home that is perfect for relaxing. Open floor plan with gorgeous views of the lake from the living/dining area. It is conveniently located near Dreams Park, Cooperstown and Oneonta. Grocery store and a good pizza restaurant are practically around the corner. I would stay here again.

Nice, quiet little house on the water!

Only suggestion would be that the owner have kayaks and a few fishing rods available for guests. Other than that it was peaceful and comfortable.

Peaceful treasure

We were lucky enough to stay at serenity cove again this year. My son played at all star village, an easy 20 minute drive from here. We kayaked every day, rode our bikes on the trail down the road & sat reading on the deck every day. The house was immaculate and has everything you need to cook. Patrick is a wonderful host, and very easy to get in touch with when you need him. Will miss this beautiful place.

This was our fourth trip to Cooperstown for our sons and their baseball tournaments, and let me just say—Serenity Cove changed the game for us. Over the years, we've stayed at plenty of places, hotels, air bnbs, but this time we were craving more than just a place to crash between games. We were looking for something peaceful… relaxing… a space to breathe, reconnect, and recharge between innings. And this was it. From the moment we pulled into the driveway and caught our first glimpse of the water out back, we knew we made the right call. Fishing poles and kayaks at the ready thanks to a rental from the local shop, we spent mornings casting lines, afternoons gliding across the calm water, and evenings soaking in epic sunrises and sunsets from the deck that wraps the home in warmth and beauty. It felt like we had our own private retreat—right in the backyard. The house itself was perfect for our family of 4. With three cozy queen beds (two in a shared room), it’s ideal for up to 6 guests who don’t mind being a little close—it only added to the togetherness we were after. The kitchen was well-stocked with amenities , and the living area became our go-to hangout for board games, snacks, and laughs between tournament days. On the nights we didn’t feel like hitting up the local restaurants, staying in felt just as special. Just 18 minutes from the fields, the location was ideal—close enough for convenience, but far enough for peace and quiet. And with a washer and dryer in the house (yes, please!), we were able to tackle laundry and dry out those game-day clothes after an unexpected summer rain. Lifesaver. Dream Park or All-Star Village, this place is right where you need to be. Huge thanks to Patrick and his family for creating such a special space. Serenity Cove is more than just a rental—it’s a haven for families making memories. Whether you're there for baseball, a getaway, or simply a chance to reconnect with nature and each other—this place delivers. We left rested, grateful, and already dreaming of our next stay.
