What a jewel

We rented the cottage for a family beach vacation with our son and grandchildren. It was perfect for our needs and well equipped. Close to downtown and grocery and beaches.

James and family were great guests, followed the rules, and took care of our property. We had issues with the access code but we quickly responded and had a back-up plan that worked out well for everyone without any disruption.

Walkable and Quiet

We came for an easy family get together. We love being able to walk to Palafox when we come to town. The house was the perfect size for my husband, his aunt, his mom and me. We talked about booking it again!

Weekend wedding lodgings

The location of Little Blue Osprey was great as it was just blocks from the wedding venue as well as downtown. We were able to walk or take a short drive to many activities, restaurants, or shops in the downtown area. The Saturday morning market on N Palafox St. was within walking distance. The house itself was located in a quiet neighborhood that seems to be on its way up. The accommodations were very clean, well appointed, comfortable and perfect for a couple. The instructions for using items in the house were clearly marked and communications with the owner were quick and clear. Check-in and check-out were very easy.

Pensacola

The Little Blue Osprey was very accurately presented on VRBO. The neighborhood is very old and not very impressive, but then Pensacola is a very old city. We felt quite safe and had no issues. The location was excellent for what we wanted to do and see. Downtown was only a few blocks and walking the area was fine. We watched the Mardi Gras parades and enjoyed the atmosphere. Overall, it was a good experience. The only thing about the property was the water filter in the refrigerator needed replacing and that made the drinking water a little questionable. But the water was fine.

Thank you for your comments and are please you enjoyed your stay. True the area is old but it has been revitalized significantly in recent years and continues to improve daily. I apologize for the water filter needing to be replaced and certainly would have done before your visit if the little red light would have been on before you arrived. Thank you for the note it was very helpful. As for the local water, I too was skeptical before I moved to the area, but I can assure you it is VERY safe and pleasingly odor/taste free as water should be. Thank you again!
