Spacious 2 bedroom bungalow just blocks from the beach in beautiful Oak Island. Enjoy direct beach access, access to nearby shops and restaurants. Backyard amenities include fire pit, BBQ, spacious deck, or rinse off from a day at the beach in the outdoor shower. Primary bedroom has a queen bed that sleeps 2, and 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with 2 full beds, sleeps 4. *Will consider pets upon approval, with a $150 additional charge if approved**

Oak Island

The house is very cute, in a quieter (except for the frogs, LOL) section of the island. The location is a short walk to the beach, the house was very comfortable, and the owner was responsive to all requests.

Perfect Cottage

Sweet little home with plenty of space, fantastic kitchen stocked with everything you need. Great location and quiet neighborhood. The only thing I would add would be some sort of grip (maybe shingles) to the new ramp outside as it is easy to slide when leaves, dirt or debris is on it...maybe thicker window coverings in the bathroom. Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful!

Staying here made our trip SO MUCH better!! The notes on arriving/departing were incredibly helpful, easy to follow, and you can tell the Bowlin's take great pride in their house; it's beautifully designed and maintained, and the bunk beds were loved by our two young girls. We were amazed at how clean it was when we arrived, with the AC already going! We've stayed at other rentals on the island, which either weren't as well remodeled or as close to restaurants/the beach. This place is very near the shops/restaurants, as well as quick drive/leisurely walk to beach access. We hope to continue coming here each year, and definitely hope this house is available when we return! Thanks!

This property is your updated, yet charming small bungalow. It is close to the water, and main street, but safe from hurricanes and flooding, so that appealed to us!
