Spring Break with kids

Great place to stay! We loved unit, heated pools, snack shack, beach, watching the Friday fireworks from our door, and seeing the dolphins swimming. Great, clean, quiet place!

Sandpiper

Nice unit with a comfortable bed and couch. There are a few things that need attention. The entrance door sticks and is hard to open and close, the storm door is in bad shape, the bed bench has stains on it, and there is a couple of black marks on the wall under the TV. I addressed these issues with the property management and they offered to address them while I was there but I chose for them to fix the issues after we checked out.

Do not rent from Southern Vacation Rentals. They are the most unreasonable rental company I have ever dealt with. The VRBO advertisement is false. It states “age to rent 25”. This is not valid. Per the SVR company, you can be 25 to rent, but no person under that age can attend the vacation unless there is a parent with tha person less than 25 of age. My payment was made before this information was provided to me. No refund was offered or considered. This was a huge problem for me.

Sandpiper Cove is Always Amazing!

The condo is in a great location. We have stayed at this property before in another unit. We booked and stayed here for 6 nights. This unit is very close to the entrance gate/beach access, a pool, and is walking distance of the onsite restaurant which is a plus. Upon arrival the first issue we had was with the WiFi, was unable to get the tv or our devices connected. We contacted the host manager and they had it up and running within the hour. Will say this property had the very BARE minimum of necessities, only 1 opened toilet paper roll - seemed to be a half roll from previous guests stay to no additional kitchen trash bag or paper towel roll, and an extra small sample size dishwasher liquid. Understand will not have all amenities of your personal home, but a one night stay in a hotel room provides more items than we had here. The unit is very close to grocery stores, so not an issue for us in picking up the extra items while grocery shopping. The front screen door sticks a bit and needs updating along with the sofa chair table was covered in stains. There are scratches and black scuff marks down the wall and exposed wires cords and cable box hanging from the wall and tv. The balcony door does not close all the way, leaving a gap even when latched. The pots/pans provided were scorched and burned with a few could use replacements. The space is as described a bit tight. It was fine for me, my husband, and our toddler, but it definitely would be a tight fit for 3 adults.

It was our first stay at Sandpiper Cove and we loved it. The heated pool was perfect for a February stay. Very friendly people and lots of dogs (which I love to see as a dog Mom). The unit was exactly as pictured and very clean. The front door was hard to open and the screen would not stay closed. Also there was no ice. It was snug but cozy for 2 adults and 4 children (and a dog).
