Thank you so much Matt for your kind review. I appreciate how much you respected the property. You were very neat and followed all the house rules. I would love to have you come and visit again anytime!
The house was a perfect fit for us; we had six adults and there was plenty of room. The Communication with Gail the host was great, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. The property is unique and is secluded with a beautiful view of the lake.

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. You respected my home and followed all guidelines. I hope you come back to stay with us soon!
Due to this being the owners' first time renting on VRBO, I will withhold certain comments. The house was very clean and well equipped. Furniture was very mismatched and dated. Could have used larger TVs. That being said, it was located on a dead end road which made for a very relaxing atmosphere. I definitely enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the nature sounds. We saw deer, geese and squirrels. It was centrally located to Winston Salem, Mayberry and Pilot Mtn. We visited old Salem (loved it), Reynolda House and Korners Folly. This house could be a 5 star rental with a little more attention to detail.

Glad you enjoyed the serenity. That house is so special to me. I'm sorry you didn't like the furniture. I think its beautiful and all mattresses are brand new and top of the line. It's a secluded lake home and I bought furniture for a relaxed feel. I'm not an interior decorator but I did my best.
About the host
Hosted by Gail Felice Cassas
Hi! I’m Gail, a Physician Associate, mom of two amazing adult children, and someone who truly enjoys helping others. My career has always been centered around caring for people, and I bring that same attention and thoughtfulness to hosting.
I love staying active, whether it’s working out at the gym, playing pickleball or volleyball, fishing, or traveling to experience new cultures. One of my greatest joys is sharing my lake home with guests and knowing it becomes the backdrop for family vacations, celebrations, reunions, and special memories. Beacon Hill isn’t just a rental to me—it’s a place I genuinely love. I’ve worked hard to create a peaceful, comfortable retreat where guests can relax, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the lake and surrounding nature. My goal is for every guest to feel welcome and leave with wonderful memories, already looking forward to their next visit. I look forward to hosting you at Beacon Hill on the Lake!
