Relax on the covered back porch or open deck overlooking the lake. Swim, kayak, fish from the private dock. You may pick up and drop off passengers at the dock but you can not tie up and leave the boat. The homeowner keeps his boat at the dock, but you will have plenty room. Perfect for families and friends to make memories! Located minutes from local shopping/restaurants, etc.

Summer Lake Weekend

We had an amazing time at this perfect Summer Lake getaway! Property was clean and well appointed. Location was perfect, with beautiful views of the lake and plenty of space for the whole family.

Good views and quick access to the lake was a big plus. Parking is definitely an issue if you are bringing a boat as there is no place to turn around if there are cars parked for other houses. Had to back our boat in at night for almost half a mile down a dark and windy road. VRBO listing needs to be updated as it took us to the wrong address (correct street but wrong house number). Cleanliness of the property was disappointing and there were several things that needed simple maintenance (i.e. light switches with shorts, light bulbs out, pull chains on ceiling fans snapped off, large carpet stains, etc.).

Quick getaway

We stayed 2 nights at this property and had 8 people. Plenty of room and comfortable beds for 8. House was clean. Kitchen was small and could’ve used a few more dishes. VRBO listing stated there was a hot tub, but there is not. There was also parts of a Wii (remote, CD, drum set) but no Wii to connect to that we could find. Also - only a Keurig, not a coffee pot. House was fine for our needs and we enjoyed our short stay. Couch and recliners in family room were comfortable. Nice decks and we enjoyed sitting outside one night.

Terrible parking situation.

I was told that there was ample parking for at least three (3) truck / boat rigs. This is not true! We had to park on the street in order to stay. On top of that, the very first evening of our stay, we returned to the house from the lake and there was zero parking space due to the neighbor throwing a huge party. we waited over two hours for the vehicles to be moved so that we could enter. This rental does NOT have parking for boats.
