About this property

4 bed family cabin on Pokegama near Pine City

We just finshed a fresh new paint job for fall. Come check it out! Enjoy the new deck on the front entry too.

Enjoy the views of Lake Pokegama from the three season porch. Play yard games down by the lake or relax on the shared beach. Enjoy 2,000 acres of water to boat and fish on. Walk to our neighborhood restaurant, Lake Appeil, or create your meals in our fully equipped kitchen. End your days sharing stories around a fire.

The kitchen and living area are open and roomy for all of your family gathering time.

Two of the bedrooms have a comfortable queen-sized bed. The third and fourth bedroom each has a double bed. The couch on the three-season porch also has a pull out bed.

You will find your choice of yard games in the little garden shed. Bocce Ball, Corn Hole, Kuub, Lawn Dice, Beersbie just to name a few. If you are interested in volleyball we can set that up for you as well. You can also enjoy long walks right outside the cabin along Linden Tree Road.

Pokegama Lake, Snake River, Cross Lake - You can reach all of these from the dock.
Chengwatana State Forest - 8.6 miles
Governor Knowels State Forest - 13 miles
St. Croix State Park - 22 miles

Great Place

This was my third time staying at this property or the neighboring property, which shares the same ownership. It is a great place to stay for a summer trip on the lake or an ice fishing trip in the winter and the owners are great to deal with.

This is our second summer renting this cabin. The hosts are excellent and provided a wonderful cabin for the week. The cabin is clean and perfect for a large family. A dock for your boat and a fore pit for bonfires. The hosts are responsive to any questions or issues If you're looking for a place on Pokegama, you can't go wrong with ths one.

We enjoyed our time at this property. It was clean, well stocked with items we needed and wanted during our stay, including lawn games and kayaks that my kids loved. The owners were kind and helpful, and even shipped a pair of shoes to us that we forgot! I would stay here again!

We chose the location because it was close to the venue for the wedding we were attending. We loved the tranquility that the cabin provided. It was a great way to start the day having coffee in the sunroom looking out at the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great for kids!

We had a great stay! Two families including three kids between 2-4 years old and a baby. Space worked super well. Front room was great for grown ups to hang after kids went to bed. Nice yard with swing set to play on and picnic table to eat outside, plus dock to jump off, sandy swim beach (technically in front of property next door but available to us as well), kayaks, fire ring, grill. One pack and play, highchair and booster seat were available which was super convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Family Weekend

The place is better than it looks in the pictures! Spacious enough to sleep 10, nice dock for your boat or to fish off of, firepit by the lake and a beautiful view of the lake from the three season porch...this place has it all. The hosts were great, No issues and very responsive.
