The house is beautiful the decor period stylish. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like a beautiful blooming orchid in the kitchen and "an in-house acoustic guitar".The location was great for us based on our plans for Statesville.We'll visit again.

Absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful home! Very quiet and close to downtown. Liked the backyard for the dog that’s always a plus having it fenced in. Had everything we needed. Sitting on the front porch was my favorite. Would definitely stay again.

Such a beautiful house and perfect for our trip to visit family. The fenced in yard was great for the pup and it was so fun to walk him around in downtown. Thank you, I’m sure we will return.

We had such a lovely stay at this cute, quaint house. it was the perfect place for our family to relax, spend quality time together, and feel right at home. I have rented a lot of homes on vacations, but this one was my absolute favorite. The house had a warm, cozy atmosphere with plenty of history and charm. Everything felt welcoming and well care for, making the trip easy and enjoyable for our family. Our dog loved the fenced in yard out back. Great location next to historic downtown. We hope to stay here again next year when visiting family. We would recommend it to other families with or without pets looking for a peaceful, charming getaway with all the comforts of home. Can I just live here? The Elm is an absolutely beautiful home! The house is very spacious, with plenty of room for dining, sitting, relaxing, even an office space for working. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. The bed in the master bedroom is super comfy too! And that porch is perfect for some front porch sittin'. I love that the host provided some history on the restoration of the home in the information booklet. I am ready to take another trip to Statesville so I can stay at The Elm again. I can't recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful stay in this clean, comfortable, lovely home. Great location for this trip. Appreciated the security & privacy aspects and the neighborhood feel of historic part of town. Did have some issues with the remotes for lights/fans/tvs… user error? lolWould definitely consider again.

Beautiful Home!

We rented this home while in Statesville for a friend’s wedding — absolutely perfect in every way. Wonderful location, close enough to walk downtown to restaurants! The hosts have made sure to provide coffee, detergent, toiletries, and the beds and linens were very comfortable. Great stay! Thank you again.
