Our stay was nothing short of beautiful, serene, and deeply fulfilling. Tucked away in peaceful surroundings, it offered the solitude we craved—no interruptions, no distractions, just pure tranquility. It felt like the world paused for a moment, allowing us to truly unwind and reconnect. Over a Creek is a hidden gem, and I’m already looking forward to returning soon.

The host never provided a key and then ghosted me. They responded to my first message by repeating where the key "should be". I told them the key was not where it should be or anywhere else... the host ignored my messages for help after that. Since it was unlocked and there were no other available stays in the area, I stayed but had to take my belongings with me every time I left since the cabin could not be secured.I suspect there was no one actually on site to care for anything even though the property was fully booked... because the bathroom paper products ran out, no one caring for overflowing garbage, no tidying, no attention whatsoever - among other cleanliness issues. Short-stay slumlord.

The property was quaint and exactly what we needed for our getaway from technology. The grill provided is charcoal and I may have misread that somewhere. We will definately be back, just more prepared.

The cabin was really great minus a few issues. There’s a massive hole right in front of cabin 3s front porch that my foot slipped into and I bruised my leg. Also when we came in and checked the view outside the curtains there were about 25-30 giant live bugs on the curtains. Stink bugs and wasps specifically. I had to take the curtain rod off and take it outside to remove the many bugs (also when I fell into the hole). Also the parking area was so steep that my car couldn’t make it up and we had to park as close to the fence as we could. Other than that it was great.
