Thank you for considering our home on the river. A few tidbits to consider prior to booking. Yes, there can be wild animals, bugs, spiders, and more. We're enjoying the serene life in their backyards, after all. While that can be eye-opening for some, we find our guests love truly being in nature and all that it can come with. River water levels can also fluctuate depending on the time of year.
No credits or refunds will be given in the event you experience this during your stay as this is out of our control as hosts. Come enjoy the quiet natural setting, and let me know if I can answer any other questions.

fantastic home for a relaxing getaway
Meghan was fantastic in communication from beginning to end and the house and property is super clean and has all you need ..Great location for whatever you want to do..we fished on Norfork Lake early day to noon for stripers, hybrids, smallmouth and walleye then came back and relaxed and trout fished the current when the dam was releasing water and caught plenty of trout..recommend this for anyone that wants to purely relax..Also do yourselves a favor if you are looking for restaurants and try Freds Fish House up off 412 and Heidis Ugly Cakes and sandwiche shop in Norfork..for fishing supplies try the Y Store and Genes Trout Camp Store.. i wish we were staying longer!!! hopefully we will be back soon!!

Outstanding fishing
Nice house in a great location. My family and I had an outstanding week. We Fisht off the dock and caught our limit every day. Water was clear and the river was beautiful.

Small, but nice.
Nice property, but small for 5 adult men and one teenage boy. No seating except couch and love seat. Those are worn. This is not a place for older folks. The bed mattresses are soft, not good for bad backs. No reclining furniture, so no way to get the legs up and swelling down! A real need after being in the boat all day. Some padded card-table type chairs would be nice. They could be stored when not needed. Almost no glassware in cupboards, so bring lots of Solo cups. They were on my list but were forgotten. My bad. There is a huge dead tree in the back yard. Should be taken down. The long, long, very narrow driveway is a real detractor. We brought two boats, so there was a lot of backing of trailers. Very good WI-FI. Nice fire pit area. Bring a blue tooth speaker. The boat dock is small and bounces when all the drift boats speed past going back upstream. Kind of funny that they slow down for other drift boats but not for people fishing from docks... The first two days we were at the property we had absolutely no water pressure. Don't know why. There was construction going on at nearby cabins, but anybody guess what the culprit was. So two days with showers or flushable toilets. Then, suddenly, all was well with the world! Quiet hours began at 9 pm. Except for the neighbors dog. Its quiet hours ended when we went outside. Bottom line: we caught lots of fish and had a roof over our head. The place was clean and had indoor plumbing. The host was east to contact. Would I book again, probably not.
