Newly renovated Unit 291 is a 2-bedroom, 1 bath condo that comfortably sleeps 7 with King in Master, Queen, Twin bunks in secondary and a new comfortable Queen sized air mattress.
Dine in the updated kitchen or enjoy plenty of eateries nearby. Relax in the cozy living area or do what you really came for and change in to your swimsuit and head for the sugar white sands of Destin. Unit is just a 4 Minute drive to Public Beach Access of Destin, off of Scenic Hwy 98. Or if you prefer, The Henderson Beach State Park is about another 1/2 mile down the road. Gulf Terrace offers all you need for a fabulous vacation. The complex has 3 pools (one heated in the winter), 2 Tennis courts, a catch and release fishing pond, walking paths, and picnic and grilling areas. The complex has also added a brand new dog park .
Gulf Terrace is centrally located near The Big Kahuana Water Park, The Track Family Fun Park, Uncle Buck's Fishing Bowl, the delicious Shakey’s and plenty of other shopping and dining choices.

This is our second time staying at Deann’s condo. It is in a great location. Deann was very responsive when I reached out with questions. Pictures don’t do the condo justice. It’s even nicer in person. Very roomy. Very clean. This will always be my first choice of places to stay when we visit Destin.

Great location and place to stay

We had a peaceful stay here for the week of spring break. Super close to the beaches and attractions. Property owner was very responsive and the property was great to stay in. Would definitely come here again.

Family Vacation

Beautiful home, communication with DeAnn was quick. Check in was easy as I had all the information that was needed before our arrival. Location was great, just a few short minutes of a walk to the beach. I'd definitely rent this property the next time I come to Destin if it's available!

Cozy spring break stay

Property was as presented. Easy to communicate with the owner. The home had everything that we needed. It was cozy, clean and quiet. All Good. Kids activities in walking distance from property, including mini golf, karts, bumper cars etc. We were not able to find nearby access to beach by foot so we drove to nearby beautiful beaches.

Just okay

The communication was the main issue here with the owner. She responded when reached out to, but failed to give the correct gate code on check in, so if not for a stranger we couldn't get in, the wifi didn't work most of the week because she didn't give us the correct password/ says she didn't proof read the information for capital letters. Then our wifi went out and didn't work the reminder of our stay and wasn't fixed. One of the remotes didn't work in the bedrooms, the stove didn't work properly for the first 2.5 days we were there. The owner just didn't seem like she was ready to rent it out, she needed to do some more prep work. The inside of the place is nice, that was its only saving grace. It was pretty clean upon arrival other than when we found a dirty sock, not belonging to us in the living room. So the cleaning crew could've been a bit better. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the inside of the unit was nice and seemed to be in a safe area close to everything. Overall would not recommend.

I'm sorry you felt you could only give us a 3 star. I did in fact send you the wrong gate code. It was a mistake that I owned and apologized for. However, the wifi password was indeed correct on the information you were sent via the welcome letter and the vrbo site. MY error was in my response to your text message. My Phone did auto correct and put the capital B vs. a lower case b. and when you entered the password correctly it worked fine until the storm knocked it out on Thursday night. The HOA had to send their crew to reset. I responded as soon as you notified me. To be fair on the stove, I did notify you ahead of your trip that 2 burners on the stove went out and a part had to be ordered and would be repaired on Tuesday of your stay. Nothing seemed to make you satisfied

Spring Break Getaway

Our first experience was driving up to the gate in the parking lot to find we were given a wrong gate code. There was a young man riding around who appeared that he may work on the grounds. He gave us the correct code and told us it had changed weeks/months ago. Upon entering the apartment, we found it to be clean but smelled somewhat of paint, old cigarette smoke, cleaning products/air freshener. We got the bathroom and all we could smell was weed. The stove looked like it needed leveling as well. The directions for checkout stated to put the garbage in the chute next to the elevator. We did not find any elevator on the property. Another document directed us to dumpsters located in two spots on the property. Positives, the property is centrally located to beaches, stores and could be walkable if desired to shops, beaches and entertainment. The property was very clean. Beds were comfortable, although could have used more blankets. The property grounds were quiet. We did not use the pools. I would recommend the property but don’t think we would stay again only because we would prefer a beach property next time. Suggestions, update the codes and checkout procedure. Having games and a welcome bag were nice touches.

I didnt use the pool my family and i did go to beach that was like 5 minutes away. Lots of parking. Easy access. Very clean. The tv in kids room didnt work well and the hot water in bathtub dripped only when in use. Otherwise beds were extremely comfortable. Lots of beach stuff to use in the closet and very nice condo for the area and price. Loved it we will definately be back.

This was a wonderful place to stay for our week in Destin! The unit was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. DeAnn answered our calls/messages quickly and was very helpful! Heads up—a few pieces of information are not updated on the sheet (gate code, wifi password), so you may need to double check with the owner on a couple things. The pools and pickleball courts were a great bonus :) Would definitely recommend!
