This house was exactly right for my family visit to Pittsburgh. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we were able to get a good night's sleep every night of our stay! Even though we ate out and didn't need to use it, the host has a well equipped and clean kitchen!
Excellent property; Met our needs for visiting family in the Brookline area of Pittsburgh; Conveniently located; Good communication with the owner; Check in was simple. Loved access for the use of the garage during our stay.
We had a large group working an event to raise funds for our non-profit. This home left us with no complaints. We felt the home was as advertised. The check out instructions were clear and easy. Thank you.
The property we stayed in was phenomenal. It is situated in a great neighborhood with a quick and easy commute to downtown Pittsburgh. Everything in the home was clean and neat and the property owner was very easy and quick to deal with. This property will be on our list to stay at again!

The property was everything as advertised, and the owner was very communicative without being at all pushy. I plan to stay there whenever I'm visiting Pittsburgh.

Thank you! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at our place. Looking forward to hosting you again in the future!
The property was nice and kitchen was setup for if you plan on cooking in which we did alot. The only negative I would have we looked in linen closet and only found one washcloth so family of 3 kind of hard to use one washcloth. So I could have missed if they were in different area of house. But bathroom didnt have any towels in it when we arrived had to get out of linen closet.
House has a great location. Close to the Liberty Tunnels and just a couple of blocks from Brookline Blvd. Quite and safe neighborhood. The space is typical of a house in the south hills built in the 1950s. An overall positive experience for a family of five.

Challenges with the coffee in the morning, not stocked well. The shower was confusing- turning off with change in water temp. Neighbor's dogs were disruptive to sleep.

Hi! You were given the opportunity to bring those items to our attention but you only reported the shower which we responded with instructions. We are always open and ready to address any issues as they come up at any time during guests stay. Perhaps more communication with us would help us make you feel more comfortable.
Stayed in this adorable home in the quaint Brookline area for our annual summer trip to the Burgh. Everything was just as the photos. Super clean, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen! Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Daniel is a SUPERSTAR host. Checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Daniel!!

Great to know you enjoyed your stay! Happy to host you again in the future.
Overall our experience was very good. The communication between owner was very responsive to any of my questions. Only one small issue was we had kids with us and the grass looked like it had not been cut in a long time. It was at least 18-24 inches high.

Thanks for staying with us. Happy to host you again!
This home was cozy and comfortable for our family of 6. We needed to be in town near family in Dormont, and this was close by, and easily accessible. It's just as advertised- on a steep hill. It is an older home with character, with creaks and groans. It did not bother us, but this may not be the place for you if you are a very light sleeper. Daniel was perfectly communicative and a wonderful host!
No problems just something to know:
1. House is on a steep hill (classic Pgh) with plenty of parking but, tight because of the number of driveways. including the one for this house.
2. the floors are creeky, everystair and every footfall. All wood floors make for easy cleaning (understandable) but not a quiet stay for a light sleeper.
3. Kitchen sufficient, but we didn't try to cook there.
4. Would rent again.

Thanks for staying with us! Much like most properties in and around the Brookline neighborhood, the property was built in 1955, has original and well-kept hardwood floors, and is located on an easily accessible corner of the block. This is Pittsburgh, so navigating up and down hill is common for the area.
Hope to host you again in the future!

Good points but the bad points outweigh it.
The house is an older home, nothing special, but more space than a hotel room. The best part about it was the location. With that being said, upon check in I was informed by the owner that the shower had to be turned on "with force"... I thought that would not be an issue, I was wrong. My husband was the only one who ever got a shower all weekend... and even that he could only make happen once. The force it takes to even turn the water on pulls the faucet away from the wall, the whole time wondering how much force is too much and am I going to break it.... after reporting the problem there was some miscommunication. Overall I would have NEVER booked this had I known this was going to be such a problem. After check out the owner did try and make amends but not enough to make up for it. We had a busy weekend and being able to shower is a real MUST have.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. This review is preposterous. I value our guests experience as if they were part of our own family. Throughout your stay I provided you with clear steps on how to work the shower responding to your messages promptly, I held a three-way call with you and my handyman to attempt to have the issue addressed, and I offered you an extended stay to allow my handyman to assess the shower so that you could utilize it - you turned it down by saying it was inconvenient to you.
After you checked out, I sent both my handyman and cleaner to clean up the property and check out the shower. My handyman verified all the components of the shower (knob, faucet, and shower head) and found no problems. The shower knob was working as designed, as shown in in this video clip: bit.ly/3LMRSjn. After chatting with my handyman about the situation, I felt extremely uncomfortable that you went through a bad experience and I refunded you for your second night.
We are constantly working to improve the experience for everyone and we appreciate your understanding.
