The Space:
Enjoy staying at this comfy condo located at the base area of Mt Crested Butte, steps from hiking and biking trails in summer and world class skiing in winter. Walk to the free town shuttle to get into the town of Crested Butte in minutes. Relax in the community hot tub after a long day of recreating.
This second story, two bedroom, two bathroom condo is in the Emmons Building which is surrounded by The Elevation Hotel, Lodge at Mountaineer Square and the Treasury Center which houses Christy Sports, and the CBMR rental shop and other coffee shops and retail store. Maximize your vertical while enjoying ski in/ski out from this convenient location. This unit is on the 3rd floor of the building and the building does not have an elevator. There are 3 1/2 flights of stairs to access the 3rd floor from the parking lot level and the condo itself is on 3 floors (2 additional flights of stairs to reach the master bedroom).
The living space in this condo is perfect for a couple or small family to base out of. The twin bed room, which has a loft feel as it opens up to the living space below, and full bath adjacent to it, is up one flight of stairs. The primary bedroom with ensuite full bath is on the top floor of the condo which maximizes your privacy. Both bedrooms have tv's connected to cable.
All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival. There are three bar stools for casual dining at the bar top. There is also a small dining table that seats 4 when expanded that is directly across from the kitchen, complete with extra chairs stored underneath of it. It folds away when not needed to conserve floor space. The spacious living room has comfy seating and a tv with cable. There is a brand new electric fireplace as well. The new couch turns into a bed for an extra sleeping area (suitable for one adult or two small kids). There is a small dining or game table that folds up when not in use. The private balcony off the living area has a table and chairs and makes a lovely outside space for enjoying morning coffee or an afternoon libation. There is an outdoor shared hot tub one floor down from the condo. There is a washer & dryer in the condo. Hot tub is open seasonally and managed by condo association. Normal times of operation are the entire ski season and late June to Labor Day.
Access to, and also within, this condo requires climbing multiple flights of stairs. This unit is accessible by an outdoor covered stairwell only. There is one flight of stairs from the parking area to the two covered flights of stairs which access the unit
There is also first floor ski storage for you in a shared locked closet. You will want to bring your own lock if you are concerned. This room is shared by several condos.
There is parking for ONE vehicle in the Emmons parking lot. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate trailers or RV's due to HOA covenants.
The minimum age for renters is 25. Children with their parent or guardian are always welcome.
Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.

Village Center Parking Plan Notice*
The following parking regulations have been approved by the Board of Directors and incorporated into
the Homeowner Association’s governing documents:
1) All authorized vehicles must be properly permitted by Association management prior to parking in
the parking area. Permits must be appropriately displayed for easy viewing. Owners may provide a
paper copy of the HOA issued permit to short and long term renters, provided that the dates of
occupancy are included on the copy.
2) No residential unit may have more than one (1) vehicle on site at any one time.
3) No motorized vehicles shall remain parked upon the property unless the same is in good working
order and used for actual transportation.
4) No unit owner, guest, invitee or lessee shall park his motor vehicles on, or in any way obstruct free
and unlimited access by the owners, guests, invitees or lessees of any other condominium unit.
5) Parking in non-designated areas may subject the offending vehicle’s owner to fines and/or towing.
6) After a snow storm of more than 6”, vehicle(s) are required to be moved to a plowed area within 12
hours of the snow storm so that all areas may be plowed.
7) All vehicles must be moved a minimum of once every seven days, or more frequently, as requested by
the association or by the property manager for snow removal or parking lot maintenance purposes. If
possible all signage informing the plan to plow the entire parking lot shall be posted at each common
entry at least 1 day before the vehicles are required to move from the parking lot.
8) No recreational equipment shall be parked, stored or maintained by any unit owner upon the exterior
property of Village Center Condominiums. Recreational equipment is defined as boats, campers,
trailers of every nature and description, tents or other similar equipment or devices.
9) No commercial vehicles and no trucks shall be parked on any road within the condominium property
except when temporarily engaged in transport to and from a condominium, or as contractors for
specific unit or HOA repairs. For the purpose of this rule, a ¾ ton or smaller vehicle, commonly known
as a pickup truck, shall not be deemed to be a commercial vehicle or truck. The exception to this rule
is an emergency vehicle meeting ALL of the following criteria:
a) Any unit owner required by his or her employer to have an emergency vehicle at his
or her residence during designated times;
b) The vehicle weighs 10,000 pounds or less;
c) The unit owner is a member of a volunteer fire department or an emergency service
provider;*
d) The vehicle has an official emblem or visible markings of an emergency service
provider; and
e) Parking the vehicle will not obstruct emergency access or interfere with the
reasonable needs of the other residents who use the community’s driveways and parking.
Note: On-street/Town right of way parking is NOT allowed in the Town of Mt. Crested Butte. Overflow
parking for Emmons residents and guests is located north of the Grand Lodge Hotel, to the east of the
parking structure.

The Neighborhood:
The Emmons bldg is part of the base area of Mt Crested Butte ski area. You are within a couple minute walk to the slopes, retail, coffee shops and the transportation center where you can take a bus to the town of Crested Butte.

Location of the unit is great for getting to the lifts. Getting into town via the shuttle was also very convenient. Unit was clean and worked well for my group.

This is a great condo. The free shuttle to town picks up only steps away and the ski lift is less than a 1 minute walk. We will stay here again when visiting Crested Butte in the future. Thanks!
Location is fabulous. Place is cute and well outfitted. Nice view of the mountains. Stairs are no joke when you’re adjusting to altitude. And I tore my ACL so I was on crutches on those stairs. There are a lot of them. The property management company was highly responsive to my questions. For example: where to park a second car. Note: the lodge next door allows overnight parking 40 per night.
Well stocked condo close to slopes. Space was great Agree that there are a lot of stairs—to the condo and inside to beds and bathrooms. Only concerns we had were a lack of secure ski storage unless you wanted to carry skis up 3 flights of stairs. We were able to leave them in the car which worked well. However if we could not get a spot and had to drive to the overflow parking that would have been difficult.

Had a buddies ski trip and this location was perfect. It was a really easy walk to the lifts and to the ski rental shops close by. The unit was very clean and had plenty of space for us to relax. Would stay here again!
This was a great condo for our family. The location was fantastic. Our girls enjoyed having their own space and their own bathroom. It was great having the balcony to store skis and watch it snow. We would definitely stay here again.
Our Wonderful Stay steps away from the lifts at Crested Butte
This condo worked amazing for me my wife and young son. We were steps away from the slopes, easy access to the shuttles, and loved the views of the mountains and sunrises. Can't wait to stay here again
Family of 5 with kids ages 8, 11, 12 and there was plenty of room for us to relax, cook, and spread out. Enough space to unload our gear. Location was key, 5 minute or less walk to the slopes.
Well furnished, everything we needed for our stay (except flashlights would have been helpful when there was a neighborhood power outage) Stocked kitchen with kitchenware in good condition. Great location at base--and yes there are lots of stairs.
This condo was perfect for our small group. Great place to be snuggled in at for skiing, shopping, and going to the restaurants. Had friends in other nearby condos, and we easily could walk and meet up. Clean and good parking. Close to everything!
The rental unit was just as pictured in the advertisement. Lovely and charming decor and had everything that was needed or desired for our quick weekend stay. The view from the porch is very nice even though it’s facing a rather busy roadway. The beds were comfortable and the updates to the bathrooms were very nicely done. The stairs to climb up to the unit as well as within the unit may not be conducive for the elderly or disabled but we, with being in our 60’s, were able to handle them ok. I would definitely stay here again.
We came here to see the fall colors. The condo was comfortable and very nice, just what we needed. Quiet too which was awesome. Nice having an extra TV in the master bedroom.
We really enjoyed our stay. The chairs and couch in the main sitting area are comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, dishes, glasses, etc. It’s literally a three minute walk to the main two ski lifts. The entrance is on the third floor and the condo is three stories, so it’s a lot of stairs! we would stay again.
This picturesque property is situated in a fantastic location near mount crested butte. The property has ample space for activities and chill time. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the need accessories. Communication between owners and renters was sensational. Would rent 100 out of 100 time if I go back to Crested Butte. Thank you for a great stay!!
The place met our needs. The fireplace and the tv clicker are on the same frequency so the fireplace would often lock and not work. The instruction book was helpful. The location on the mountain is perfect and Mt.CB is magical at Christmas.

Many impressive things about this condo. It was very clean and so thoughtfully set up. The location is perfect--next door to the Elevation Hotel and about a 30 second walk to the main Red Lady lift. The stop for the shuttle that runs to town every 15 minutes is just steps away too. The management company was on top of all communications and very helpful. I can't compliment the whole experience enough. Thanks!
Amazing experience in this condo. It’s so close to everything - steps from the slopes. Very clean and great communication with the owners. This place has everything you need. Kitchen has spices, olive oil, ziplocks and everything else you need to cook. They’ve got shampoo/conditioner and soap in the bathrooms and hairdryers.
We stayed here with our two kids, ages 17 & 20. Plenty of room for us all after a long day of skiing.
Spring break ski trip with a 4 year old and 6 year old. Unit was clean, well appointed. Only downsides were lack of washer/dryer in the unit (there are coin operated machines inbthe building basement as stated in the description) and the bathrooms are on the 2nd & 3rd floors of the unit which was hard on my beat up knees, but that's not really the property's fault ;-)

The unit now has its own washer/dryer in unit. The bathrooms are still up a flight or 2 of stairs depending on which one you want to go to though!
We had a nice time at the unit. location was awsome. There are 3 flights of steps to get to unit. There is no elevator. this was not a big deal for us but it could be for some. The second bedroom is open to below with doors that closed. There is only one parking space for the unit as well. My son had to park in town and move the vehicle every day to allow for snow plowing. If parking in town review the rules. I would stay here again.
