Such a great stay! The house was amazing and fit everyone perfectly. Great location and excellent communication with the host. Would definitely stay here again!
This house is amazing and exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is so big that we couldn’t even find the last bedroom for a few minutes444 after arrival. Beds were comfy, clean and the property was well kept. Would definitely stay again and I highly recommend!
We can’t recommend this property enough. One person in our group said the house is “epic” and she’s not wrong. We were in NOLA for a wedding and this was the perfect place for our family of 5 plus some guests. We could walk to great restaurants, coffee shops, nail salons, boutiques, antique stores, you name it! We also walked to the French Quarter, WWII Museum and Canal Street. The only negative was that we didn’t have more time to spend there. The whole process was seamless and the owner was so responsive. We will definitely be returning the next chance we get!
The Duke of magazine was a beautiful home with lots of space for my whole family. The hosts was very responsive and the neighborhood was vibrant and lots of food options very close by. Would recommend highly!
Excellent communication with the management company made the stay very easy. We had 9 ladies come to town to celebrate a 60th birthday. The house was perfect for this since it has great spaces to gather, many comfortable bedrooms for privacy and a convenient, safe location. It is a unique floor plan since the three distinct 2nd level sleeping areas are not connected, but have their own staircases making it a good choice for multiple couples, multigenerational families or large group of friends.
We had a great experience staying at The Duke of Magazine!! The house is incredible, the location is great in the Garden District, you have so many amenities in walking distance, including a great spa across the street! We loved using the cocktail pool, which was heated for us in February and the house is super clean, charming, and comfortable. We loved walking to Mojo coffee or French Truck, we loved having Fat Boy sandwiches right next door as well as a great sushi spot on the corner, and Birdy's was great for breakfast/brunch. It's also about a 25 minute walk to the French Quarter which we loved having close by. Can't say enough about how nice and easy Kurt was to work with along with the staff from Summit NOLA. Would highly recommend and we hope to return one day!
Very nice stay with spacious rooms, many accommodations, and gorgeous architecture. Quick and easy reservations with great communications. However, it is located near a burger shop with a rather junky truck parked in front. We do feel that takes away from the beauty of the property and elevated experience if you are hosting a nice stay for guest.
Kurt and Zach from Summitt were beyond helpful, we absolutely loved our stay here and it made our weekend! Fabulous location, gorgeous bedrooms, the works!
The Duke of Magazine Street was lovely, quiet, well appointed. Super luxurious furnishing and the beds were so comfortable. It was hard to leave as it was so peaceful! Definitely would stay here again.
The Duke of Magazine was so incredible in so many ways! We had 9 people staying with us for our combined Bach/Bachelorette and it was absolutely perfect! Walking distance from so much but also still tucked away. We loved the cocktail pool too! We were there in late August and took a dip in the pool each night, perfect way to end the day! There was so much space, our friends kept telling us how much they loved it! Would definitely book again.
We had an amazing time at the place! The home was clean, spacious, and perfectly located. The host was super responsive, and the thoughtful touches made our stay extra special. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing trip!
We had a group of 14 girls and this house was perfect. Everyone raved about gorgeous it was and we had plenty of space. Great location too. Zach, the property manager, stocked the house with groceries and answered all of my questions immediately over text. We’ve already started taking about coming back to stay again!
The location was great. Reasonable walking distance to restaurants, bars, trolley stop and hop-on-hop-off bus stop. Beautiful rental with lots of room. All bedrooms on 2nd floor which could be a problem if mobility issues for elderly. Definitely would rent again. Short Uner ride to all areas.
My 8 friends and I had an incredible time at the house. The owner was very prompt and flexible with our varying arrival times. Plus the location was phenomenal. Would definitely stay here again 10/10!
We had a fabulous time in Nola. The house was awesome. The location was great. The house manager was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We really enjoyed it and recommended the Magazine house.
The house was absolutely stunning; even better than the pictures! Located right on Magazine st, very walkable and highly desired area. Loved the amenities and all the character the house had to offer. The host was extremely communicative and helpful as well. Would definitely go back and recommend!
