We booked this for a long weekend- great location walkable to many amazing restaurants and bars. The property is charming and spacious. Overall great stay and would recommend booking.
This property is really beautiful and well located. We enjoyed it overall and would definitely stay again. The windows and proximity to coliseum park were a bonus. We had some WiFi issues but the host was responsive and helpful. Only negatives were the dishwasher was full of mildew and too dirty to use, and the host and I had a miscommunication about the pet policy and fees. It was my fault for not double checking that they knew we were traveling with a pet, but it was an honest mistake and we paid the extra fee immediately upon being told it has not already been assessed. Despite this the host was incredibly rude and accusatory and charged us an extra fee for “excessive pet hair” after checkout which I think was questionable. So make sure to tread with caution if you bring your pet. I still recommend the property.
We had an excellent stay at this property. Everything about the property was even better than described: host, cleanliness, location and condition. We look forward to using this property many times in the future.
We had a fantastic stay here in Nola for a friends weekend trip. Location is fantastic and it has great Nola charm throughout. Communication with the property manager was top notch. Street parking was super easy for our extra car. Would stay again!
Very nice Home , as advertised
Host was very nice and helpful giving us advise on local restaurants and checking on us
It’s in a good location!
Recommend with family
We loved our stay here for the Sugar Bowl. Convenient to any place we wanted to go. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds.
We loved walking to local eating spots and coffee shops rather than fighting the crowds in the Quarter. Thanks
A group of us (5 teen girls and 5 moms) stayed in this lovely apartment for 4 nights. It was a great size, enough common room for everyone, but enough bedrooms for some private quiet time too. Nicely decorated, very clean, well-equipped. Close to everything. Would stay there again!
This is a beautiful property with well presented modern bathrooms and plenty of modern toiletries. The only thing one should be aware of is the property is on the second and third floor with relatively steep steps. This was minor problem for myself in my 80s and my wife in late 70s, but not a problem at all for our children and grandchildren. The best part of the stay was the helpful and rapid comments by our property managers when we had any problems or questions during our visit to the World War II museum in New Orleans.
All of us commented how lovely the restoration of this old building was. You simply can't beat the location, and the dedicated parking - although we found street parking usually more convenient. There were three couples and the unit was more than spacious. Our only caution is that we are now in our 70s. Be aware that like many N.O. buildings, the apartment "starts" on the 2nd floor, and 3 of the bedrooms and one bath are on the 3rd, with stairs to navigate with suitcases. Host was very responsive in booking process, and we had no issues during our stay. Just look at the photos. The place is beautiful, and the Garden District is still mostly quiet and has that old South beauty and charm. Exceptional.
