Whether you’re a fisherman seeking out your prized catch or just a nature lover seeking an escape, we know you’ll love our spot. Our location is within driving distance of Wind Point Park, the Tawakoni Marina, and the Lake Tawakoni State Park. Our unique container home units give you your own private space with a tiny home feel. Your furry friends are more than welcome, as our property is pet friendly!

The Space:
This space sleeps 4 guests comfortably, as you have the entire 40 ft container. You have your own private living space with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, living and kitchenette area. The main bedroom contains a queen size bed, electric fireplace and a 43” Roku TV. The second bedroom contains a bunk bed with 2 twin mattresses. The living area has a small couch, electric fireplace and a 43" Roku TV. The kitchenette has a sink, coffee maker, Keurig coffee pods, microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, electric double countertop burner, utensils, grilling tools, small pots and pans, beer and wine opener, can opener and paper goods. The container features beautiful floor to ceiling windows, and a deck that serves as a common area where you have plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. You will also have access to our cozy fire pit and barbecue where you can sit back and relax after your long days on the lake. The property is complete with a custom outdoor water feature that you can step into to cool yourself off!

Guest Access:
Your unit is completely private, and only shares common areas, like the deck, fire pit and barbecue. You have your own entrance to the space featuring a lockbox with your own personal QR code. There is plenty of free parking at the front of and next to the containers with a gravel driveway.

Clean & Fun Container Near Lake

We loved the communication with Emily - it's always comforting knowing there's a host who is there to take care of you. As a nice welcoming touch, they had setup a blowup Christmas decoration at the front door. The property was very clean and well stocked with all of the things you might need (soaps, blow dryer, towels, Keurig, coffee/hot chocolate, candles, and plenty of cooking tools for a small kitchenette). We did not use the outdoor firepit as we were visiting family nearby during the evenings. However, there were other guests using it one night and they really seemed to be enjoying themselves. Couple of tips for other guests: 1. If you're not familiar with the area, try to arrive before dark as it's a bit rural around the lake (we know the area pretty well so it was not an issue for us but might pose an issue if you've never been to the area.) 2. It is a container, so during the winter it is a bit chilly inside. Make sure you pack some slippers and long sleeves & pants.

Great stay!

This was such a sweet spot! Loves the s’more treat and communication was great!! Only suggestion is to cover/insulate the buildings or start the AC and fans much earlier in the day for summer days. It did get colder, just would be better to be cool upon arrival.

Tiny Rental Getaway

Perfect weekend getaway for us and our dogs. We competed in a local dog competition and loved staying at this container rental. Very clean, cute decor, and outdoor space was delightful. Had trouble regulating shower temperature and would have liked an outdoor porch light that we could turn on when we took our dogs out after lights on auto timer switched off. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent !!!!

Excellent property!!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakeside Haven Containers. Containers were fabulously designed to accommodate very need. It has got wonderfully landscaped backyard, fire pit and the lightening that added charm to our evening celebrations. My kids and friends also enjoyed their stay. Although we had some issues with the power Outage in one of the containers when we tried to turn on the stove. But the property host answered the call and help us fix the problem in no time. This place was certainly our gateway to relax and unwind. I will certainly plan another trip soon.
